Ike Perlmutter went all in for Inhumans while dragging his feet on Black Panther and he's worth about $4 billion. What a country. Ike "Women and Black People Don't Draw Money" Perlmutter. Also, the man's so cheap they literally had to shave Medusa's head because it cost too much for his liking to animate her hair. And that's his pet project. Says it all, really.

Wasn't it mentioned in an interview recently that Defenders wasn't getting a second season? I still need to finish season 1. What I have seen I enjoyed. But I would rather have had a Defenders shows that was based on the old Defenders comic. Give me Dr Strange,Valkyrie,Nighthawk,Hellcat and some other b listers.

Krysten Ritter has said nobody's contracted to a second season and she doesn't think there will be one, but that's not to say that there won't be one. Luke Cage 2 is out later this year, Daredevil 3 and Iron Fist 2 are in production, while Punisher 2 has been confirmed and Jessica Jones 3 is inevitable. Throw in the ongoing rumours of a full Heroes For Hire series, a Blade series and a Ghost Rider series, so I wouldn't be surprised if Defenders 2 doesn't happen... but I'd also not be surprised if it does.

Also isn't Daredevil still assumed to be dead?

Kinda hard for the Avengers to ignore the Earth getting potentially quaked apart. Just saying.

That said, it's also hard to ignore the person thought to be responsible for it since she's apparently infamous enough to be considered a national fugitive.

True, but it goes back to keeping things interconnected in such a way as to not deter people who feel put off by it, as well as the logistics of timing. Infinity War was written in mid-2016 and filmed from January to July 2017, long before Quake was a public figure. TV shows simply aren't planned out far enough in advance and can potentially change far too quickly for movies to keep up. The AOS crew don't even know if the show will continue after this season or not, much less what the status of the characters will be 12 months from now, so it's not as if the Russos can ask what Daisy, Coulson and the team will be doing around the time of Avengers 4 so they can have them appear in a show-accurate way. And that's not even mentioning the issue of Perlmutter and Feige's feud causing a hard split between Marvel Studios and Marvel TV.

So are we supposed to believe Thanos is causing all this havoc in New York and they can't even be bothered to have a short cameo as someone here mentioned of them looking up at the sky or something? Come on now. Thanos bringing literal Hell on Earth isn't something that can happen on one side of New York while the other side is unscathed. I'm with you on this. If there was ever a time, it would be Thanos showing up. But I wouldn't expect seeing Dare Devil going Ultra Intinct and dodging everything Thanos throws at him though.

Maximus has had Medusa's hair cut in the comics. Was it a budget issue for the show not to have Medusa's hair? Of course. But there has been a comics precedent for that event occurring.

Inhumans had enough problems as it was recovering from being very publicly dropped from the movie line-up as well as the stigma of being the poor man's X-Men. Being broadcast looking as cheap as it did, and literally not having enough money to allow one of the lead characters to have their trademark killed any chance it might've had of catching on with an audience.

True. What is odd is my friends that aren't into comics loved the Inhumans show. One of them enjoyed it so much he wanted to read some Inhuman comics. So I loaned him that Jae Lee drawn series from years ago. I never bothered with Inhumans, figured it would be like Agents of Shield where I didn't hate it.But didn't enjoy it enough to bother watching it every week.
