And it just hit me. Holy crap, it's gonna be released in Saturday. We're so close. This is going to be good Considering how far the manga is ahead they can probably add a little more than I think {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I thought this could end at the Festival but now I think it ends right before we get the League back in the spotlight
That way the season can end with a little showcase of Deku new power and Shinso getting his chance to shine. Probably structure it almost the same way they did with the License episodes last season {Spoiler}Kind of have some doubts on that one, though it would be nice to see. If the season is 26 episodes max, I can't see it going past the festival.
My bet is that they end the season with the festival. At best, maybe the reveal of the top 10 heroes with Hawks approaching Endeavor about the Nomus. And the next season is the follow up with that with Endeavor against High-End, the Class A and B practice fight, and My Villain Academia ending with the Liberation Army joining with the League. If there's enough time, we'll get to see Deku, Bakugou, and Shouto interning under Endeavor, with Hawks passing his secret message about the incoming danger society will be in.
...man, the current season is gonna be hype, but the next season would be even crazier with the potential impact it would bring.

If we are looking at 26 episodes again, I say at least 12-15 is going to the rescue arc/Shie Hassaikai Arc
Hell, if they wanted to stretch it, it could go more but they were smart to bring some in last season. This story arc was all of 2017 and is the longest storyline to date so it should be majority of the season and a lot to pack in. Get introduced to Overhaul and Nighteye properly and then set up the mission
This season should do 3 arcs tho between this, remedial (which will be a good break after the drama) and then the Festival. Midoriya defeats Gentle Criminal and then you can end with the Endeavor fight as you said.
Tho yeah the next season will probably be even more hype with the League getting their own story which should be really good.
Also if people are still hating Bakugo somehow after the end of last season, the stuff coming up should continue to help him

I really liked the overhaul stuff and how serious in nature it got. It was a natural step up from them getting their provisional licenses and a peak into the "real world" they will enter someday
Add on Mirio losing his powers, Nighteye dying, Overhaul getting humiliated by getting his arms cut off, and the vision of All Might dying a brutal death there is a lot to unpack

That said, I'm looking forward to next season when Endeavor gets more fleshed out. The coming season we'll get a little bit of his character developing, but not quite enough towards redeeming his various mistakes. Next season, and what's currently going on the manga goes on that further, giving us character development and a very slow burn to maybe even redemption. The guy did some vile things, and its interesting to see him slowly try to change things.
Also regarding recent stuff, it's cool that he quickly picked up on what Hawks was trying to tell him about the coming threat.

But I talked about pacing, not good plot points. The arch has good writing and themes ,everything is good except pacing

He's villain Midoriya in the fact we are going to see him go through crazy shit to get to the top and the whole arc of him vs the Meta Liberation Army should be fun
He's gaining his army so I do wonder when we get All For One around him again or does he truly pass on his powers therefore making Tomura even more dangerous
Almost seems written in stone he will kill All Might at some point

In a few hours, the first episode of season 4 is gonna be released. {Spoiler}My guess is that it'll be a recap episode of sorts. Only this time it's the meeting between Shiragaki with the League of Villains meeting with Overhaul, with Overhaul discussing the failures of the LoV, recapping the moments when the LoV was involved.
Then we'll have Overhaul popping Magne like a balloon, which will be cray-cray and set the tone for the season. Also, regarding a certain villain. Manga spoilers, people. {Spoiler}Overhaul. Shiragaki has taken what was left of the bullets he created. With the doctor and the liberation army at his disposal, this could pretty much be one of the key things that'll affect the heroes as things progress. I get the feeling that the heroes will have to persuade Overhaul to assist to counter what Shiragaki has in mind with those bullets.

I do think another important character will lose their powers tho. My guy is building his own army

Watched the new episode on Crunchyroll. {Spoiler}Was the reporter guy from the manga? I liked how he was able to put together the truth about Deku being All Might’s successor. Just imagine if his intentions were less noble, though. A scary thought.

Yes, the one big criticism is the fact that Bakugo's character development (for the better) has taken a long time to come and while you can understand what's driving him, he's still a major asshole about everything. However, they have finally begin to make him at least better overall while still being the hard ass character but they are having him roll his eyes at stuff he went crazy about before Somewhat following the Vegeta model except he's an angry teenager I'm on episode 11 now and... yeah, he's Vegeta/Ichiro Miyata (continuing my Hajime no Ippo parallelism) type character: very prideful, very talented, hot headed and when faced by a weaker protagonist who wants to surpass him is forced to face his own feelings on the situation. Only he doesn't struck a friendship like Miyata nor does he acknowledge the protagonist as one to be respected like Vegeta, making him an asshole pretty much. But yeah, plenty of cool characters and some interesting powers too. But the real question is: is invisible girl really naked? Cause if so, Eraser Head's quirk can be... yeah... i'm glad i'm not the only one that sees bakugo as similar to vegeta

Recent manga stuff: {Spoiler}I'm just really liking this whole Endeavor character development. Like, on the anime when they added the scenes of him dealing with the Nomus on season 2, I was pretty much "that's cool, but he's still an asshole". Him trying to fix his mistakes now really makes me hope that he manages to do that... even though it's most likely that he might die when the crap hits the fan.
Regarding the Dabi is Touya thing, here's my theory. Before Shouto was born, he was Endeavor's choice to surpass All Might. As I recall, Touya/Dabi had a stronger flame but he was a lot more vulnerable to the heat it brought. Like maybe he wasn't even the one Endeavor put his bets on, but before Shouto being born he got trained by Endeavor in any case. And then Shouto was born and Endeavor focused on him entirely. Shouto doesn't seem to remember him all that much, so its doubtful that he and Touya was trained at the same time.
Despite what's known about Endeavor during that time, my wild guess is that Touya was the kid among the Todorokis that idolized him. Wanted acknowledgement from Endeavor, but with Endeavor's narrow vision at that time and putting all his focus on Shouto, he was basically ignored. Or... maybe because Touya's flames were too strong to the point with serious drawbacks, then maybe Endeavor decided that Touya shouldn't/can't follow in his footsteps into becoming a hero.
Despite that, seeking approval, Touya tries. And then the crap hits the windmill. The incident where Touya dies, or seems to die. He got caught by the villain of the past two chapters. Why would he be involved with the villain? Either he was at the wrong place at the wrong time, or trying to show that he can be a hero, tried to deal with the situation and one thing led to another, and he dies, seemingly in front of Endeavor, which causes the other Todoroki brother Natsuo to blame the father. Like Touya literally burning himself out, apparently dying with the realization that Endeavor doesn't see him as hero material. Yet he survives, with the Todoroki family not knowing that's the case, and he becomes Dabi with a more twisted views on heroes, and harboring a grudge on his father.

Endeavor is never really going to do a full around good guy turn but you want to make him at least less an ass hole as possible
Still think it is setting up for Dabi to kill him and the world going into a bit of a panic thanks to losing two number 1 heroes
