Snyderites: "Directors should have complete creative freedom!"
Also Snyderites: "Directors need to follow Zaddy's creative choices and aborted castings!"

Oh yes, by all means center your TV show around an actor who's so high profile that his Wikipedia page redirects to the page for Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Like try that at your job and see how long you actually last. Maybe if like his ideas were profitable they'd reconsider but they weren't

I always suspected the Snyder cult were a bunch of Wayne Carrs. Or something like that anyway.

Carr seems like a pretty nice dude on social media, but there's absolutely zero chance of DC casting an part-time actor whose biggest role is a minor character in three episodes of Chicago Med as the lead of a big budget TV production, especially after things worked out so well the last time Snyder cast an unknown actor in a major role.

Naturally, the Snyderites are taking it well. I can't believe any human being would want to talk to any other human being who isn't named Zack Snyder. Even Zack Snyder should only want to talk to Zack Snyder.

Speaking of social media, it's kind of weird that his profile picture is still Green Lantern. I mean, he must know he's not getting that role, right? Like, from the outside, it's not a great look when one of the highlights of your career is shooting an unauthorized cameo that will never see the light of day in somebody's driveway.

Since acting isn't his primary job it's probably always going to be the thing he is most known for.

Snyderites: "Directors should have complete creative freedom!" Also Snyderites: "Directors need to follow Zaddy's creative choices and aborted castings!" My choice would be John Boyega.

Let him get an audition and see what he's got. Maybe he'll surprise you. He probably won't, but maybe there's something there.
But the idea of demanding you cast someone in a major role just because Zaddy put him in front of a green screen in a driveway is insane. Did he even have any spoken dialogue?

But the idea of demanding you cast someone in a major role just because Zaddy put him in front of a green screen in a driveway is insane. Did he even have any spoken dialogue? The scene where Bruce wakes up to find Martian Manhunter hovering above the lake outside his house was originally going to be the Green Lantern scene. Affleck's half of the scene was shot in 2016 but the other half wasn't because Snyder was told he couldn't use any Green Lanterns. When the Snyder Cut was confirmed Snyder shot the other half with Carr, only to be told he still couldn't use any Lanterns, so he completely reshot the scene with Affleck and Harry Lennix. Which also – again – blows Snyder's insistence that Lennix was always intended to be Martian Manhunter out of the water.
