As offended, and outright insulting, as some of you seem to be about my stance on this event, I shouldn’t have even mentioned it. I’m assuming it’s against the rules anyway since it’s about another country’s culture. For the few who actually decided to talk about the topic rationally and inform me of the social change in Saudi Arabia, thank you. I appreciate you not being insulting.

I predict Plane Ride from Hell 2: Electric Saudiloo on the way back from this thing. A bunch of dudes flying back after not being able to get alcohol for a day or two, and Drunkicho is on the plane. What do you think the odds are he starts singing Fozzy songs on the way back? If he does that's book 5 sorted.

Anyone think this wrestling show will be as weird as Kollision in Korea, or is that event still the reigning king of bizarre, uncomfortable wrestling venues?

Oh for goodness sake, some of you need to read shit properly...
In less than 48 hours it's gone from "f***. They hate Rusev, how DARE they put him in a casket match against Taker!? He's gonna be buried!" to "f***! They've took Rusev out the casket match and replaced him with Jericho! He's being buried, leave now Rusev!"

This will be a pretty big thing for Jericho, I think this is only his second ever one on one match with Undertaker. Most likely because of that promo in 1999. Actually, I believe it'll be their 4th televised match. They had 3 on Smackdown over late 2009/early 2010 from what I recall. I remember the first one was hyped up to be a big deal "first time ever" match. He and Punk had a bunch on Smackdown around that time, too. I'm definitely curious how different it'll be nearly 10 years later.

So he wouldn't take the loss? Personally I saw it as cool to see Rusev get a spot with Taker, but Jericho vs Taker sounds just as awesome, but it just feels really weird that Rusev got cut from the match so suddenly...

Obviously it's just speculation but there was quite a lot of outrage from fans/smarks on Twitter yesterday being like "Oh great now they literally bury Rusev" and all kinds of negative stuff like that. So maybe that played a part in it and they just went ahead and changed the match.

Maybe Rusev’s size and physical wrestling style just isn’t compatible with Undertaker in his current physical condition.

Now it looks like Mysterio will be in the Rumble. Did Saudi Arabia agree to finance the XFL to get a show like this?

Rusev and his Rusev Day chants are way too popular to put in a match against Undertaker. Way too popular. Even as a heel Rusev's out-popping most of the card nightly. You can't have a guy like that against The Undertaker because Undertaker would be be battling Rusev's popularity right now. He's on fire. He's white hot.
Jericho on the other hand, as popular as he is, he's not in "the zone" like Rusev right now. He's also better at being a genuine heel as we can see against Neville during BotE years ago where he played heel to Neville for that one night and it worked well. Besides that, Jericho's a more experienced safer worker than Rusev too. Also Jericho losing wouldn't hurt him any, I mean it's Jericho. His name's also bigger than Rusev's.
Makes perfect sense to me why Jericho would replace Rusev. Put Rusev in the battle royal and watch him out pop most of the roster proving his worth.

It would be pretty damn impressive if, at 47, Jericho works a ***** match at the Tokyo Dome with Kenny Omega and then, less than four months later, is able to get a *** match in a casket match (!) out of a crippled Undertaker (!!) in Saudi Arabia (!!!) on short notice.

When the last time Undertaker was in a casket match? Must be going all out if their getting a Taker match outside of wrestlemania in one of his gimmick matches. Survivor Series 2008, vs Big Show. I attended a house show in Nov 2009 and he worked a casket match against Punk. But he was full time then.

Yeah her tweet was saying she checked the vid to see if it he actually said that and he DIDN'T so she was actually dissing TMZ not Ruru. Still weird he got replaced.
