Sasha vs Bailey reminds me a lot of Cena vs Orton. On paper it looks great. Every-time they start a match or a promo I'm thinking "Oh this will be good, they are both great!" But 5 seconds into it I'm reminded that their chemistry together is really awkward and it doesn't work.

Yeah, the story would be much more effective if Sasha got to be a heel, but WWE is very, very reluctant to turn her, so it just gets put in limbo. They've already delayed this feud so long (last year's Shakeup episode had them teasing fans by having Sasha about to turn being interrupted by Alexa's debut) that its been really hurt.

Teasing which one of them going to turn has made for a more compelling watch than one going overt heel.

I liked the match tonight. Bayley's early slip was covered well by the commentary team and the slow build of calming their intense emotion into an intense match ultimately exploding into a great brawling sequence before the Riot Squad jumped in.

Yeah I like it too. It's a believable story about two friends in a serious career rut that are taking it out on each other, it'll suck if we don't end up getting an actual blowoff at some point but I don't mind the non-linear path it's on right now.

If next week Bayley is getting beaten down by the Riot Squad and Sasha makes the save, we’ll have effectively rebooted the entire story from about four months ago, only changing the stable no-one gives two shits about.

Raw preview this week suggests they're doing this story in the most boring way possible, with Sasha and Bayley realising they have to work together to beat the Riott Squad, ugh.

Yeah it should absolutely be Sasha. I'm not a big Bayley fan or anything, but Sasha's really unlikable and it's fun to root against her.
