For real, though, I grit my teeth every time I hear "Chat me up" and "Rumor and Innuendo." Do podcasts really need so many catchphrases? Between those two, "Well, you know," "Doot doot doot," "I used to be over," "No yob," and so many others, it's like it's a catch phrase whore house. It's just lazy podcasting- it's easier to fill up show time with the tired catchphrases than actual discussion and content.

Skimmed though some of the 1st episode. Jeez WWE couldn't provide these guys with a studio or something professional looking to film from?
Feels like I'm watching two schmoes do a podcast from their basements or something.

1995 HBK Episode is up.
Got to agree with Bruce on the idea that did using a knife to cut a turnbuckle being a rib on arn and sids fight. That’s just f***ing absurd

That’s just f***ing absurd Seriously, I never heard that before and that theory by Meltzer was ridiculous. As for the episode, I liked it as it's a lot less of the gimmicks they do on the regular podcast and get right down to business.

While episodes like these (for the podcast listeners) feel redundant, having the footage to set the stage for some of the stories sets it apart. The shorter run time (this was 97 minutes I think) with less shilling for other adverts makes the whole production tighter. Liking what I'm seeing and hearing thus far. And damn is Conrad's head HUGEEEE!

Why does Bruce have a Killer Kowalski death mask on his mantle behind him?

Why does Bruce have a Killer Kowalski death mask on his mantle behind him? What, you don't keep wrestlers death masks out for public viewing? You just don't know how to put a room together, do you?

So I'm not much of a podcast guy so I never listened to the original one, but there's a bit of dissonance in the advert between 'I'm going to talk about the things they don't want me to talk about!' and 'The Million Dollar Man was great!'
Uh... how controversial to praise one of the most critically acclaimed wrestling legends of all time??

I can understand expanding on the shorter episodes they did on the podcast but I believe the Dibiase episode was one of the first ones that clocked in at close to 3 hours. I have no idea what else they can say that wasn't already discussed in the podcast.

About 54 minutes into this week's episode, there is a never before seen outtake clip from the 1989 vignette where DiBiase had the Million Dollar Championship shown to him for the first time. It includes him laughing like crazy, then asking Bruce and the crew off camera if that was enough as everyone claps and Bruce shouts "Yes, yes!" in Brother Love's voice.

I like these shows on the Network a lot more than the podcasts on Fridays, they don't waste time with gimmicks and get right into it, this episode is one of my favorites.

Watching the DiBiase episode as my first one. Can’t believe they put it as TV-MA with a language warning, yet “f***” is censored.

And it’s ridiculous. By censoring the f***s there’s nothing on there that warrants an MA rating, a few shits should be a 14 at most. So tired of this censorship bullshit on the network. It’s a show clearly aimed at older viewers, leave the swearing in.
