Oh no....pipers next week. I don’t know if I can deal with how sad that will be if it’s like the podcast version. I ended up crying after that one

This is probably my favourite thing on the Network.
I really enjoy it.

Admittedly, I never listened to the podcast, but the constant trying to get in catchphrases is a thing that'd be nice if it were dropped.

Why does the logo for this show make me laugh so much?

So they skip over his Portland un in 1988, when Piper turned Art Barr into Beatle Juice.
Someone tell Bruce that the A - Team was on NBC not ABC.
The part when Piper goes to WCW, Conrad said something about Vince making a star, well I disagree, he was pretty over in Georgia and Mid Atlatic. So that is BS.

Haven’t watched it but This show seems to just rehash topics already covered on the podcast why would I want 90 minutes to 2 hours more of a subject already covered to death in a 3 to 5 hour podcast? I hope the answers isn’t because now we can look at Bruce and Conrad because that sounds like a negative to me because I usually listen to podcasts while I’m doing other things so having to watch it seems pointless to me.
To me the only appeal to this show would be if they just covered topics they haven’t covered on the podcast that don’t warrant a 4 hour show.

I've never listened to the pod cast; I struggle with audio only things, I dont even listen to much music. For me, it actually IS about it being a TV show. Pointless to you, is perfect for me.

I thought this week's show was okay, probably the weakest of the batch so far, IMO. But I like these podcasts even if they were done already, only because we get video and sometimes never before seen footage like with the Ted DiBiase episode.

Then who’s watching it? if they don’t listen to the podcast I would guess the average fan has no idea who Conrad or Bruce is and wouldn’t be very likely to devote 2 hours watching them talk.Having a show based off a highly listened to podcast and then not aiming it at those people seems like stupid move.

I think the hardcore fan who's really into the show will watch it, and probably new viewers. I'm like you, I listened to a 3 hour Ted Dibiase episode, there's no way I'm going back and watching another episode that's an hour and a half - 2 hours in length. It's too much.

Then streamlined version I enjoy since it gets to the meat of it That does make the network version seem better.I haven’t listened to the podcast since last summer the shows were too long with very little quality content once the show started to get more popular it seemed to me that Bruce got more guarded with what info he was letting out and it was more fake fights and Conrad trying to be funny.Listening to a 4 or 5 hour podcast and only getting maybe 5 -10 minutes of quality info made it easy for me to unsubscribe especially when 3 and a hour of those hours are Conrad reading old observers and then Bruce crapping on Meltzer. I might be in the minority but I’m not a fan of the gimmicks what appealed to me originally about the podcast was that Bruce is an entertaining storyteller and he’s been involved in so much over his career he could do this show for a decade and not repeat material.

I’d be interested to see if it does but I could see it having the opposite effect I could see people trying it out once but then giving up due to the length and all the other crap of the podcast and instead going with the network show because it’s a lot easier watching one 90 minutes to 2 hour show a week than that and a 4 to 5 hour podcast.
