I didn't think this week's episode about Russo was all that interesting myself, hopefully next week's show is better.

I’m enjoying the Russo episode. The footage they show is pretty neat.

I've only seen the first couple of episodes so not sure if they've improved this but it should be treated as a radio show with cameras. Having both of them stare directly down the lens for the whole show is distracting.

Thoughts on the cena episode? I’m just starting it

I haven't seen the Cena one yet, I have just been watching these to catch up. From what I have seen thus far I enjoy the reminiscing on the 80s stuff a lot more than the 90s and Attitude Era stuff. Pritchard's defense of various 80s guys at least makes sense to me, such as defending Hercules and noting his Mid-South work with Duggan, or noting that in 1989 Brutus Beefcake was in fact a top guy that was over. When we get to him attempting to defend TL Hopper or Mantaur, or the Goon, that's when it comes off like defense mechanisms.
Conrad Thompson kind of miffs me at times because the dude doesn't really know his stuff all that well. For instance, on the Michaels episode he said that Shawn did not wrestle at all in the 1995 KOTR tourney, whereas he certainly did (he and Kama had a time limit draw). Or saying that Austin was still the Ringmaster when he faced Savio Vega at Beware of Dog during the Dibiase episode (Austin was doing the Stone Cold gimmick by WM 12). I can get bringing up Meltzer for Pritchard to either confirm or contradict whatever story, but why bring up the match ratings?

On their Cena podcast (their audio one from last year, not the new Network one) he referred to Orlando Jordan as ‘Orlando Jones,’ and said that Jericho ‘beat The Rock and the Undertaker in the same night’ when talking about Vengeance ‘01.

Orlando Jones just sounds like a goofy slip of the tongue, but if you wanna be a wrestling expert you gotta know basic match results of PPVs when you talk about a particular topic. Considering Cena hadn't debuted as of Dec. 2001 why were they talking about that show anyway? It would have been tough for Jericho to beat Taker that night considering UT was wrestling Van Dam.
But yeah the Hercules discussion was fascinating, as Thompson was clearly crapping on the guy's work like "I mean, can anyone name their favorite Hercules match?" Pritchard then mentioned his work with Duggan in Mid-South for instance, and when hard pressed noted one in Houston he saw where Cornette's hair was on the line. On the same episode he also crapped on Beefcake's 1993 return (and not just the booking, but Beefcake personally), which if you recall was his comeback from the terrifying parasailing accident that nearly ended his career. Kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

I didn't expect it, but I think the Cena one is my favorite on the network so far. I lol'd at Conrad telling us that Cena has Bruce to thank for his entire career. I would like to know who was legit responsible for hiring Cena, Bruce or JR.

Does anyone not believe the whole they had to big plans for cena narrative I thought it was generally agreed that he was going nowhere before he came up with the Rapper gimmick? He came in with a big push but that seemed to have fizzled out badly by the time he started the thuganomics stuff.

This week's episode will be delayed until Friday. WWE apparently had "creative differences" over the WWE ECW episode that Bruce and Conrad taped over the weekend.

Kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Yeah his disdain for Beefcake is something that always annoys me too as he just dismisses him as some jabroni even though he was super over from 88-90 and was a pretty big deal at that point. Yet he gets annoyed and digusted anytime they bring up Beefcake winning a match or being in a big angle during that period with the whole "Brutus the f------ Barber Beefcake" nonsense. I guess because his buddy Flair hates Beefcake Conrad feels he has to kiss up to him, but it's ridiculous how much he discounts him.

If this is a work... consider me worked. I've got the Network, but never watched/listened to SEtW episodes yet. If he's getting CENSORED then dagnabit, imma fight the power and marathon his show. Well played, WWE Network.
