On the whole I did not enjoy this PPV at all. Seth/Miz and the Elias segment were great, as was the Cass/DB match. I'll be generous and say the rest of the matches had some bizarre booking.

So two Miz finishers fail but one from Seth is enough. Genius grapefruits at work ladies and gentlemen. It was an excellent match as Miz has such great performances with the right opponent, I'm just not a fan of Superman performances like Seth got to have here.
I like how WWE has resisted making the Bliss/Nia squashes giving Alexa some genuine offense. Nia was so lucky she didn't land right on the ring steps. Great message after but comes off so false in a post match setting.
Good match between Jeff and Randy though a very vintage one, being more of a highlight reel of both guys career. They shouldn't be fighting each other at this stage but should be used to elevate newer stars. Even when they win they're good enough to make their opponent look good in defeat.
Skip.
Cass vs Bryan wasn't much good. Sorry, but I lost patience with hosses two decades ago. And I don't think Bryan should be tossed around like a rag doll at this point in his career.
Nice professional performance by Charlotte as always. Carmella, though good, would have fitted better in the diva era. I liked that they let her win though as it was so surprising.
After a slow start we got an excellent championship match. And at least the double countout played into the storyline. That and Nakamura didn't end up as japanese Bray Wyatt in this feud.
Not exactly a classic tag match but tons of fun.
Say what you want about his character but Roman has some awesome non Lesnar matches and this was no exception. Even though the end result was predictable ypu still had Samoa f'n Joe in a WWE PPV main event. Talk about long overdue. Lastly, the live audience negativity towards everything Reigns does is getting annoying.
All in all a more than acceptable card though I preferred single brand ones since the other kind can get rather undercard barren.

This was one of the most mundane WWE shows I've seen in a long time. Hopefully MITB is a lot better than this.

This felt more like a house show than GRR did. Man this was a chore to sit through.

Yes Roman we know. Vince is going to keep on fisting us through you Ugh. That's a visual I didn't need. My 2 cents... I'm getting tired of people telling me (and everyone else) how awful WWE is. You all have the right to your opinions and to voice them, but all this talk about "Worst PPV ever", "Servers crashing because people hated the show so much", be realistic. IMO Backlash had at least one great and some solid to good matches. The overall level of the performers is so much better than it was in the past. People you don't like win a match, get over it. I just think a lot of people enjoy bitching about WWE so much they don't have time to enjoy the good parts of the shows. And if you like Wrestling a bit, there are always good parts.
