This is definetly not the same Sony that won E3 a few years ago and literslly ripped out Microsofts DRM heart and showed it to them. That feels like eions ago. Nah, Sony has returned to their god damn cocky form. And the worse part is people are lapping it up. Just because some of the games they showed are exclusives. No seriously, I'm looking at reactions to the presser online, specifically comparing it to the MS presser, and people are genuinely convinced this was a better event because while they didn't show nearly as many games as MS(hell I don't even think they showed as many games as Bethesda, freaking Bethesda, a company whose IPs can be counted on one god damn hand!), they 1) showed more exclusives and 2) showed more gameplay. Like you can't really praise them for the showing gameplay stuff, because if they weren't going to show that many games, either the event was going to be hella short or they had to show extensive gameplay just to freaking pad time. And Sony went with the latter. The simple fact that we had to wait and kill time while people filed between venues, because they had an entire venue just for the sole purpose of showing off Last of Us II, just reeks of the smugness Sony feels. They are that damn confident that their shit doesn't stink that they believe they can get away with crap like that. And I'm not even dogging on the games. The games themselves looked good. That was just a shitty press conference. Especially by Sony's standards.

Well Nintendo you at best have got runner up locked in because of Smash and a new Metroid so congrats. Now if you announce a brand new smash and not a port....might have to bump ya up to first place. Holy shit I forgot about Prime 4!!! Yeah Nintendo might pull this one out.

I'm kind of hoping Nintendo has some nice surprises tomorrow. As it is the only things I really especially care about are Smash Bros. and the likelihood of a new Fire Emblem but there are some things they could do that'd promptly catch my attention.

The last 10 pages felt like a Raw thread lol Forreal lol. There's a reason why I don't watch full WWE shows and stay in those threads full time as they go on anymore. I'm just here for games and loving games, shit's supposed to be fun at the end of the day.

Imma need some Bayonetta 3 and a port of 2 would be nice. I have never gotten into Fire Emblem tho I play with Corrin on Smash and like it so maybe I need to look into it.

Also, I'd like to point out that 3 of the Big 4 games Sony focused their presser around this year were announced back in 2016. I guess I'm spoiled by Nintendo's method, but I'm god damn tired about hearing about these games for 3 straight years....
Just, freaking copy Nintendo already guys and announce the games only when they are in a state that you are comfortable about announcing them with a planned release not too far out from the announcement, because this shit is ridiculous. You don't need that long to build up hype.

Yes, I was disappointed in Sony all around presentation but f*** it at the end of the day they showed shit I like. If you're not a Last of Us fan I get you don't want it shoved down your throat but I've been waiting for that and enjoying every min of it

Nintendo does it well but Bethesda takes the cake with that Fallout 4 announcement. Oh there's a new Fallout btw...it comes out in 4 months. That's how it should be done.

Yeah lol. I come for the games and if I like the games being shown, I like the games. The fact they showed actual gameplay (when years we went full on with full CG trailers and bullshots) does a lot for a fan like me. I weirded out by how their conference format was but I wasn't upset with it nor was I disappointed when I saw the games given the games gave me what I needed. If we had new FF7R footage or a new MK announcement that would have been better but still. At the end of the day games are supposed to be fun so you'll never see me getting frustrated about a conference. I do see people talking about how TLOU is brutal and all but shit, I mean it's what you expect lol.
Speaking of TLOU2...
Yep. It makes sense.

Disappointed sure but at least got to see things i'm interested in

Some...infamous examples of constant delays not withstanding.

You don't need that long to build up hype. To be fair Nintendo does this sometimes too. Like it's been a full year at this point and we've heard nothing else about that new Yoshi game, and it happened before that with Federation Force. Granted the latter was, you know, Federation Force, and that Yoshi game looked unbelievably slow and boring so it's probably needed the year of extra polish, but still.
