The wiki article does not mention any details, but since its 1983...are the newly uploaded episodes feature the debut of Jim Cornette's Midnight Express already?

I believe they debut in early 84 after Magnum/Wrestling 2 win the tag belts from Neidhart/Reed.
EDIT: I stand corrected, been a while since I've watched these episodes.

I actually kept watching various episodes on You Tube since I was interested in the place where they left off on the Network (roughly the Olympia/JYD feud). After a good 2nd half of 1982 I will warn everyone that a lot of 1983 is some dire stuff, especially the 2nd half of the year where you get a ton of bad early Butch Reed heel promos. The problem with a Reed/JYD feud to me is that neither guy could carry anything on the mic or in the ring at that point and frankly if you want to feud with JYD you needed to be able to do one of those things (Hayes could work the mic, Olympia could carry the match, Dibiase could do both).
Is the episode up where Lawler stops in from Memphis to scout talent? First time he and JR ever did commentary. What's funny is people act like Memphis got totally hosed in the trade, sending the various Midnights and RnR guys in exchange for guys like Bundy, Rude, and Neidhart (I think?). The thing is though is that Memphis was very tag team heavy in 1983, but didn't have many top heels for Lawler to feud with. Note that the Kaufman stuff dragged on way too long, and Lawler's main heel challengers were guys stopping in from the AWA like Ventura and Patera, and of course Bockwinkel. Memphis needed some top singles heels going into 1984 and guys like Bundy, Rude, and Neidhart helped out in that regard.

Yeah the 83 stuff is not the greatest, though it picks back up in 84 with Magnum/Wrestling 2 vs. Midnights and later Magnum vs. Wrestling 2.
