Man. Stephanie made this guy sink into the floor super hard. I only saw this movie yesterday, otherwise that would have soared over my head.

I mean, the interview did ask him if he was "allowed to"for some reason; I think he just wanted to give a vaguely heelish answer because he's working. Joe is very much like Punk in that regard, and while Joe can't pull it off in the clever way Punk did, he's very good in the way so much of what he says can work in kayfabe and in real life without it offending the foundation of the other.

He's working for the WWE. When did these guys ever been allowed to say it? Even Christian who is not even an active performer, on his podcast, he never said it once. He's always like "over there" and things like that. It has become a running joke and even Edge teases him about it.

TNA has been mentioned by name countless times on that podcast, especially on episodes where they interviewed people who used to work there. WWE's also been much more willing to mention TNA, at least on their network shows lately. They showed video clips of a Styles vs Angle match in TNA on a recent episode of Table For 3.

But wasn't the clips used part of the deal TNA made with the WWE in the Hardy stuff? What I mean is that most of the times WWE stars won't use the name TNA and prefer to say "elsewhere" or "that other place" so it should not be shocking that Joe doesn't say TNA. AJ has not either and most other former TNA guys.

Joe suffers from PTSD (post TNA stress disorder) it's pretty f***ed up that people bring it up when talking to him.

It's the verbal equivalent of this spot:

I always found former TNA guys refusal to speak about their time more endearing than infuriating, personally.

Be prepared Joe. If you ever feud with John Cena, he will mention every company you ever worked for.
