I'm actually really confused about why some of these guys WOULDN'T keep a job. Like, JTG was a talented guy back when he was working for WWE. The question isn't why didn't he get fired sooner, it's why didn't they give him material to work with. Yes, but that's the question that if any of us seriously dwell on it we will go insane because that doesn't just apply to JTG, it applies to a number of the greatest talents in wrestling history, including in the modern day.

I do think it's interesting that Funaki stuck around for so long, he came in as a characterless stable member of Kaientai and ended up sticking around for 12 years and is back with the company now doing commentary for the Japanese PPV broadcasts.

I remember wondering why Funaki was employed by WWE for a long time, until I read that he was cool with Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Funaki lives here in San Antonio
