If that 6 man from last week is any indication, that tag match should be great.

Lorcan and Burch finally making their Takeover proper debuts (Lorcan has wrestled in dark matches and episodes of NXT TV taped before Takeover). They have the potential to steal the show here.

They're obviously not going to win but I'm hyped for my two ugly bald men to put on a good showing.

I have this really strange feeling if Gargano/Ciampa is made that Candice is turning on Johnny. Again just a weird feeling after this week's NXT with Johnny not listening to Candice,l and plus it'd be a classic pro wrestling angle.

So I was thinking this card would be the four title fights and Ciampa/Gargano in some form, but Dream/Ricochet surely is happening, so I'm not sure. Would be weird to leave out the North American Title on the Takeover just after introducing it.

The last Takeover to have more than five matches was Brooklyn II back in 2016, and one of those was Ember Moon squashing Billie Kay in five minutes. The last one before that was Respect in 2015 and again, had a five minute squash featuring Asuka. So, they are pretty consistent with the five match formula, only deviating if they want to put someone over decisively.

You have to also think that any potential Ciampa/Gargano match gets at least thirty minutes.

If that 6 man from last week is any indication, that tag match should be great. If every single match Oney Lorcan has had in the last 18 months is any indication, that tag match should be great.

If that 6 man from last week is any indication, that tag match should be great. I finally watched this and that was a hell of a match. Also I love those douchey backstage promos that’s Era do with their music playing in the background. Mispronouncing names - Pete Doone, Oney Lor Kan and calling Danny Burch Mr Number 2. I know turning heel instantly makes anyone more entertaining these days but wow, Roddy Strong is like a million times better in this role. Should be a really entertaining feud.

This may shock you but Roddy was fantastic as a douchebag dudebro with Eddie Edwards. Dude can play it well.

Dude just nails it. So much more interesting than the family man gimmick he was stinking up the joint with as a face.

Black vs Sullivan is probably their best "unappealing" match up for the NXT title in a good while but I expect them to deliver
You would think we potentially get a match up between Gargano and Black at NXT Brooklyn assuming they want to put the title on Johnny

This card is looking better every day. It is making me really consider trying to wrangle some tickets and find a babysitter.
Presumably Velveteen Dream v. Ricochet.

That's also a strong possibility since Brooklyn is their Mania and this is basically their A+ feud.
The feud itself will def determine who will be NXT champ this year
