So, is this worth reading?
I've very recently got into manga a bit -- read Girls Und Panzer, which was good. And up to date with the recent uploads of Kinnikuman Nisei Chojin Tag (also good) and I'm looking for something else to read.
How is this? I dont like stuff thats too serious, I like things with a bit of comedy and fun to them. The premise seems interesting.

They have some "sweet moments" because the MC herself is just a sweetheart in general but the premise itself is based on survival. I would say give it a try. It is one of those things where once you start reading it hooks you in because you're on edge about what happens next If you're looking for comedy and action, you'll need to start reading Shounen. Outside of the Narutos and Bleach of the world, read Beezlebub which is hilarious in that it doesn't take itself seriously but is really good on action when they decide to amp it up

It’s going to be the length of everyone’s hug to Emma. Seriously, I’m down. I’d like to know more about the world that was set up even though the main story is over.

Went to the pictures today to see the Demon Slayer film (getting in while I can, COVID nos are rising I can see a soft lockdown coming to get us through the winter) and one of the trailers was for the live action film of this. The trailer gave away a lot of the big reveals of season 1 (tends to be a Japanese thing, they probably assume movie goers are well aware of what happens) and the casting of young adults for Norman and Emma looks off because the woman playing Mama is very young too, in one well known scene where Mama is comforting/threatening Emma it loses a lot of gravity from anime/manga as its evident that they are the same height and their faces look the same age.

Japanese live action adaptions are usually hit and miss but it is a quick buck that people will go out their way to see

Also, like...would it really be realistic to expect a live action version of this to happen with kids?
"Kids, in this scene, we're going to show you a child that's been half eaten by a demon and you're going to be very scared and hide or else you're going to be eaten yourself. Aaaaaand ACTION!"

Also if we are being technical, Emma, Norman and Ray are only 11 when they start the series before getting shipped out at their age Making the age 16 in the movie is good for multiple reasons. One big reason, you can hire people around that age and not have to worry about puberty. If you intend to release 2-3 movies they are naturally going to age and you can play that into the movie tho you can also hide it but bringing in a kid who is 11 and before you know it they hit puberty and look way diff will throw the whole thing off

A new side chapter of The Promised Netherland is out today. Have yet to read it but I wanted to at least say it is to not let it be overshadowed by that other big Shonen chapter out today, something to do with it reaching a 1000 chapters?
Think it's called Single Bit?

Original scenario for the 2nd season, doesn't mean they are changing the ending Way too much to do, I don't see them ending it this season For those that read the manga, I can see them expanding on a certain part of the story
