It will be interesting to see if the film deals with how Diana reacts to the fact that mankind's desire for war continued even after Ares' defeat as seen in the last film. World War II, the Holocaust, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Cold War, Vietnam--why didn't/couldn't she intervene and stop any of these events from happening?

Wiig on set as I am assuming pre-Cheetah Barbara Minerva.
Though she does seem to have the hair...

"Kristen Wiig is the villain because she's travelled in time to 1984 to erase the original Ghostbusters from existence so only her version is available!" ~ Some Shithead Imagine being such a loser you're still this butthurt about a mediocre remake of an okay 80s film two years later. Yes...but I still found the above funny. Sue me.

She looks like a frumpy middle aged woman in that picture. That’s not the image I think of when I think of Cheetah. Not even pre transformation Cheetah.

She might be Cheetah in disguise.

Won't really pass judgement until I see her AS Cheetah. After reading Greg Rucka's last Wonder Woman run I'm going to need a pretty damn good Cheetah damn it! lol

Only reason I can see why they'd skew towards an older, unassuming pre-Cheetah is that they want to draw a parallel between her mundane human form and her extraordinary post-transformation form. I'd say we're definitely getting mystical Cheetah.

I'd say we're definitely getting mystical Cheetah. She looks like Trelawney from Harry Potter in that picture. I was thinking this type of Barbara Ann Minerva.

It should end with WW throwing a hammer through a movie screen.

I like the idea of keeping the WW movies as period movies, makes it easy to distance them from the DCEU, but wish they hadn’t jumped straight to the 80’s. There’re great stories to be mined using any decade between the first movie and BvS
