WWE is adding 1983-85 episodes of MACW to the Network. There should be uploads several times a week until the end of the month.

Cool! Should be a big upload if the rumours (104 episodes) are true.

Finally! I swear, if I ever see a video archival job posted on WWE's website, I might just drop everything and apply. The idea of digging through the footage they have stowed away is orgasmic. The Central States/St. Louis libraries alone would hold me over for a few months. Maple Leaf, Stampede, early Georgia, 1960's-70's AWA, all would be great to see.
Which ones do they NOT own? Houston (Boesch), CWA, Southwest (Blanchards), Portland, Hollywood (LeBell?), what others?

Houston did do some co-promotion with the WWF near the end of its run, but I dont know if their tv from that era is owned by the WWE or not.

WWE does seem to own a bunch of Houston via the Mid-South library. Some full Houston matches have ended up on WWE releases, and the Jim Cornette episode of WWE Photo Shoot on the Network has a few Houston clips at the beginning as well.

OK, anybody with my bit more knowledge help me out here:
Is Mid-Atlantic the territory that would eventually evolve into World Championship Wrestling, i.e. the territory whose slot got taken over by Vince during Black Saturday? Is this the territory you have to watch for getting the build-up to Starrcade 1983 and 1984 and that transitions into the 1985 episodes of WCW on the Network?

Jan. 1972 - Jul. 1984: Georgia Championship Wrestling airs on TBS. The GCW TV show is renamed World Championship Wrestling in 1982. Jul. 1984: Vince buys GCW/WCW. Mar. 1985: Jim Crockett buys Vince's time on TBS (Saturday and Sunday nights) as well as Ole Anderson's (Saturday mornings). His first programs on TBS air on Apr. 6. His two syndicated shows (MACW and Worldwide) continue airing, giving him 5 shows. Jun. 1986: The MACW TV show is renamed NWA Pro Wrestling.
