On a serious note, the only staredowj that got me excited was when Rocky and Drago looked like they were about to fight again.

I was watching this trailer when Creed and Drago's son faced off with Rocky and Ivan in their respective corners, I couldn't help but think of WWE. The big match that they are pushing for their next show is HHH vs. The Undertaker. Something struck me: Rocky Balboa has done a better job pushing new talent for the future than Vince McMahon.

Anyway, I gotta say that Dolph looks impressive for his age.
Stallone... not so much, but then again, Sylvester actually plays that into Rocky.
This sounds like one heck of a popcorn movie.

I'll give it a chance. I was down on the last one because I love the Rocky franchise and thought Rocky Balboa was a good way to end things, but I ended up liking Creed.

Stallone should be allowed to book WWE for a year.

I saw it and found it to be very subpar.
Way too many things happening throughout the movie, without any time to flesh anything out.
The fighting sequences are fantastic however. Everything in the middle, not so much.

I watched it yesterday and enjoyed it. Not as good as Creed, but it is enjoyable.

Cons: The first half is BORING. Creed is also an asshole to pretty much everyone for 2/3 of the movie.
Pros: Stallone is still great as old Rocky and the scenes with the Dragos are fascinating. Every time you check in on them, you're like "Why didn't they just make Drago?". Dolph Lundgren gives a legitimately great performance in this movie.

I'm now curious if they'll do a movie where Rocky dies. It could be legitimately moving if done right.

saw it friday night. very predictable, (you'll figure how the movie will play out within the first half hour) but the formula still works for a solid movie.

I thought it was pretty good. Phylicia Rashad had a very convincing performance, also.

I thought it was pretty good. Phylicia Rashad had a very convincing performance, also. She looks GOOD, by the way. 70 years old, looking like she just stepped off the Cosby Show set.

Just came back from seeing it and loved it. Very entertaining. They did a good job of humanizing the Dragos. Also {Spoiler} the Rocky theme starting up during the title fight almost had me doing push ups in the movie theater.

I'm now curious if they'll do a movie where Rocky dies. It could be legitimately moving if done right. Honestly, I hope not. We've seen him lose his mentor, his friend, his career, his fortune, his son, and his wife, as well as see him battle cancer. We don't need to see him die too. While the series doesn't have the same gravitas, I'm half-expecting Rambo V to end with John Rambo in the ground, and that'll suck.

From a character standpoint, I kinda hope this is it. Both Rocky and Adonis and even the Dragos had satisfying arcs/endings.

predictable but very solid movie . Great performances by all involved, it seemed pretty conclusive for the Balboas, Creeds and Dragos
