He was going to go to UCLA where he no doubt would have been treated like a star like Lonzo, Gelo stupidly thought listened to his father instead of just taking the suspension and being able to play his full college career even if he never got into the NBA, he cost himself a scholarship
Melo luckily is only 17. However, his journey to the NBA isn't as certain as it once was
Lavar deserves credit for being there for his kids but he's a case of a parent who should have stepped back instead of trying to make it all about himself. Luckily for Lonzo he can still make his money on a sneaker deal
Sorry to shit on that too but Broussard said that Lonzo won’t get the ten million Nike deal he was offered when he was entering the league, more like a bottom of the barrel deal. F***, Lavar really did that boy bad

Last I heard there are a few teams in college that are willing to appeal to the NCAA to get Melo eligible for college but they did not want Lavar involved at all.
It sucks if Lavar and his kids had a falling out, but he also has to realize he brought this on himself. He used Lonzo to get BBB hype but instead of making it about his son he made it about him. Then he got to big for his britches and screwed his 2 youngest kids

His dad ruined his life.

OOF. Well he has talent so he either has to go back overseas or go to the G League but yeah pops may have f***ed him over cause now he can't showcase himself in College
Lamelo is raw tho and could easily not make the league due to his family and his own reputation but at 17 he's the reason why you created the G League to make guys like him NBA players in 3-4 years
His daddy cost him a shot at college where he would’ve been featured in a major program. His dad cost him a shot at the Euroleague because of the rotten reputation they got at Lithuania. His daddy cost him a shot at getting drafted. LaMelo was apparently comparable to Lonzo skill wise so he would’ve been a good player at UCLA and would’ve been drafted high. Lavar cost him tens of millions of dollars. Now the kid will have to kill it in the g league just to get a ten day contract. This is a tragedy. Should be a documentary about what not to do as a father. On the next 30 for 30..... Lavar Ball: What a Shit-show. Michael Jordan: "That dumbass said he could beat me one-on-one. Bitch, I owned the NBA when I was in my prime." Virginijus Šeškus: "He said everything in his time in Lithuania went exactly as planned for his sons. If you call a train wreck every as planned, then yeah." CM Punk: *looks around* "Wait, why am I here?"

Also, not gonna lie. Did not see the Milwaukee Bucks having the best record in the NBA right now.
If they were to beat the Warriors in the Finals, I would be okay with that.
They haven't won one in 48 years.

Ryan Rucco is usually a great commentator but him and the other lady (Sarah?) took an ice age to realize the injury and was talking about the Nets
The players upon realizing the injury instantly ran, that should been a cue of something bad happend with Nurk on the floor

And more than anything it's the Warriors, Rockets, and Celtics having down regular seasons and Toronto slowing down. They stepped up a bit, the rest of the league played down a bit.

If you want AD you’ll lose both Brown and Tatum. Also I’m not sure Davis would be thrilled to play with Boogie again. This is painful to say, but I don’t want IT if I’m the Celtics, not even in the bench, he’s too much of a headache and his injuries killed any value he had. They don't have to trade both Brown and Tatum as the ball may be in AD court as far demanding a trade but he has to go wherever they send him since he has a no trade clause. I don't think AD is the right fit for this team tho in saying that and him and Boogie were a good pair but idk if I want that back again
As far as I.T. goes, I think Stevens can get whatever is left out of him. He played his best there and he knows this really is his last shot in the league. He's really got nowhere else to go except like a team like Orlando who probably don't want him with Fultz or Boston due to him being his best there Celtics have some things to figure out because they would be in danger of falling behind. Giannis is making Milwaukee attractive, Philly is keeping Tobias over Butler most likely and if Toronto keeps Kawhi they are straight
Who the **** takes Butler next year? Like, I know numerous teams will give him a shot, but I do want to see which particular team he can make a shitshow next year.

LOL literally everyone could have predicted(and most did) that LaVar was going to f*** up his sons’ money/careers. Can’t wait for that 30 for 30.

Also helps that Coach Bud is a huge upgrade over Jason Kidd... I dont think people realize how badly Kidd held bsck the team

It’s crazy that Westbrook is gonna average a triple double for a third straight year and nobody cares.

It’s crazy that Westbrook is gonna average a triple double for a third straight year and nobody cares. As much as I give Westbrook shit it's impressive as f***
However, stats are inflated as f*** right now. Trying to get a triple double on purpose is hard as f*** but he's at a point in his career where stats don't mean anything if there is no W's behind it. It's been the same with LBJ for 6-7 years, his numbers are impressive and consistent but if it didn't end in a chip for him then it meant nothing
Westbrook imo takes away from his team far too much sometimes with his erratic play. Paul George is the best player on that team. The triple double is impressive but when you start diving deeper into his other numbers like shooting percentage and all that, it takes away the shine a bit.
He's not efficient which is the biggest problem. Harden has them days too but it's offset

I get that and he’s the reason why they will never win a ring. But at the same time, not even f***ing Oscar Robertson did what the Brody did, Oscar’s record stood like forty years and Westbrook is now on a third straight year of averaging a triple double.
