Enes Kanter of the Knicks will decide by Friday whether he opts in to his contract or not
To be honest I can fine if he leaves. I like him as a player and loves that he loves NY but $19 million is a heavy price tag when he's not worth that much imo. If he opts in than he's a tradeable piece next year since Porzingis is probably going to be out until Jan/Feb

@wojespn
The Los Angeles Clippers are trading guard Austin Rivers to the Washington Wizards for center Marcin Gortat, league sources tell ESPN.

Wizards have badly needed a backup PG for years so this makes sense while this is insurance for Clippers just in case Jordan opts out or opts in and ask to be traded

And Magic already talking about a exit strategy in two years Yea I saw
He said if they don't sign a key FA in 2 years he would quit which I just can't see happening
Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James, DeMarcus Cousins, Paul George to name a few are names that are out there between now and next year

And Magic already talking about a exit strategy in two years Vlade Divac said the same thing. Yet here he still is.... sigh Meanwhile, does Washington have a center now? Maybe they'll trade someone for Kosta Koufos or Willie Cauley-Stein.

The way it feels right now, LeBron Watch is down to two teams: the Lakers and the Cavaliers. Either he stays home in Cleveland and tries to raise a few more banners in his hometown or he goes to Los Angeles to become the billionaire global entertainment icon he said he wanted to become. Outside of those two, I'd range from truly surprised (Houston, Philadelphia) to outright floored (Boston, Golden State).

Good move on trading your loser son Doc! Years late though.
The best move would've been to not sign your waste of space kid.
The Wizards just gained a locker room cancer and a terrible teammate. He ran CP3 out of town.

I hope Washington is clearing the space for Boogie.

I hope Washington is clearing the space for Boogie. Boogie + Wall would be sick.

Love me some Stephen A Smith roasting the clippers,
"The clippers should move to Seattle because LA is purple and gold."

Kings interested in Jabari Parker and Mario Henzoja
Parker is a tricky situation. They will have to way overpay for him to make the Bucks give up on him but that’s a big commitment to a man who tore his ACL twice
Mario has been a bust after getting drafted numbers 5. He’s a UFA so It’s up to Mario where he wants to go. Throwing him anything more than $5 million and an option year will be a mistake if you want him

You finally get rid of one of the worst human beings ever to own a franchise, and you're back to being a punchline. Though they need to move somewhere. San Diego would be nice; they just have the Padres, who've sucked for over 50 years.

You have to take a risk on a big talent. Real players with no baggage don't come to Sacramento. If it works, fantastic! If it doesn't... well at least Vlade went down swinging.... And that's assuming Jabari Parker is exclusively a 3. Way to many players at 4/5 already. Also, IF his medicals don't show any major red flags, I don't see the Kings shying away because of the ACL. They've shown they're comfortable with injury history with the way they're pushing Harry Giles who has also had 2 ACL years. I think Jabari will go elsewhere using the Kings interest as leverage and Vlade will panic and outbid himself signing Hezonja to a way too big contract.

Still a risk tho to have to pay a guy who has bad knees all that money Knicks went through that with Amare and he had one great season before it all fell apart. He’s young tho and Kings have to take a risk on him Jabari doesn’t have too many options outside of Kings, Bucks and maybe the Hawks. Bucks won’t match a contract if someone offers him the max so this is the Kings player to lose

San Diego would be nice; they just have the Padres, who've sucked for over 50 years. That franchise is cursed. All the stars aligned themselves from them to win it all and they still couldn't pass from the second round. They drafted Blake Griffin who in his rookie year was an all star and before all the injuries he was on his way to dominate the game. They also drafted earlier Deandre Jordan who along with Griffin became an all star on his own right and they formed one of the best frontcourt in the league. They also got Chris Paul one of the best point guards ever. They also had Jamal Crawford a three time sixth man of the year. Finally they had Doc Rivers a championship winning coach. Despite all of that they accomplished shit. Getting a roster like that it's a one in a generation moment, the clippers fans will have to suffer for decades before they get back to that place.

No matter what pressure you management puts on Lakers the Spurs have no incentive to push a trade to get Kawhi there without getting a King's ransom which would defeat the purpose of getting a player like him imo
If Spurs can acquire Ingram, Kuza, and 2 1st round picks i'm sure they be all over that but they have no need to deal with the Lakers if they really don't want to

If I'm the Spurs I am not helping the Lakers create another unbeatable super team out west unless it's a truly insane offer. Depending on the timeline, if George opts to stay in OKC the Lakers may throw in the kitchen sink to get Kawhi and then it'd be pretty tempting for the Spurs. LeBron isn't going there unless they have another elite player and if I'm the Lakers, I'm not rolling the dice on waiting till Kawhi is a free agent since that was the plan with George.
