My favorite fictitious galaxy is the Star Wars galaxy far, far away.
Not only can you travel from one end to the other in a matter of hours, but you also have the force.

I don't think it's a galaxy, but I was always partial to Dimension X in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I don't think it's a galaxy, but I was always partial to Dimension X in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's a parallel dimension, in theory it would have a parallel galaxy, i think it can be allowed on technicality. My vote's with the Star Wars one though, esp. for the force. And X-Wings.

The Warhammer 40,000 one. Whether you like minature fighting or not, the Dawn of War games show how awesome the universe itself is.

The BSG galaxy, you can be as crazy as you want and you'd still fit in. Plus Jumping is better than hyperdrive any day of the week.

If it counts, Firefly/Serenity.
If not, then Star Wars.

Star Wars for those same reasons. I mark for X-Wings.

BUT if I had to live somewhere? Star Wars. I don't want to live in the WH40k galaxy. I'd die in like 5 seconds in the most violent ways. Stupid Tyrannids/.

The Farscape galaxy. It has a lot of hot alien chicks.
