I actually enjoyed the first one. It was just fun, and didn't take itself to serious. Good stuff it was.
And since Surfer is my boyfriend, I'm totally looking forward to FF2.

Well actually in the comic, he originally found planet earth for Galactus to eat, and feed his hunger. I mean crap if he ate this dump of a planet I think he need the worlds biggest box of pepto EVAH!!! |

I could also be wrong (as usual), I just barely scanned through a plot summery, didn't want to be ruined. So, yeah, if Mr. Galactus was to eat Earth, his tummy and rectum area would be doomed for quite some time. |

Okay, one worry down. Surfer looks like he's done well, being awesome and all, biggest worry still lingers though...... Galactus. I hope, I hope, I hope he is done right. Let's not forget that Dr. Doom is still in this movie also.
I thought the first FF movie was alright. It got the relationships between a lot of the character right (Ben and Johnny for instance), but also lacked a lot of things. I would say it's neither the best nor worst Marvel movie made of the current batch. One thing is for sure, the worst one now-a-days is better then the best from before. Has anyone ever had the (dis)privalage of watching the old Captain America movie.

It seems like alot of people like the first FF here. Compared to other marvel movies i thought that one was really lacking. This has the potential of being better though. I'm also ready for Ghost Rider which comes out soon.

I'm really middle-of-the-road on the first one. And yeah I can't wait for Spider-Man 3 and Ghost Rider. The old flame head is one of my favorites, and I love the fact that they have a cameo by the original cowboy Ghost Rider. |

Wow. I mean, what's done is done, but I still can't buy Alba as Sue Storm. Just cannot do it. But I won't trash everyone's favorite wank girl anymore than I have to, lest I start a flame war like last time. Chiklis was AWESOME as Ben Grimm.....everyone else was WOEFULLY miscast.
I'll prolly give this one a pass and save my money for 300.
