The catch is, you need to not only reply in the thread but also sneak in some comment that is sure to get an additional response out of somebody. That's why I usually don't kill threads.

As I mentioned, I tend to just take threads off on wild tangents, bearing no resemblance to the original thread. A couple years ago we took I think it was a Randy Orton thread ( though who knows) by starting talking about Karate Kid. Page after page filled up with quotes, pictures, and even bad drawings of Danielsan vs. Cobra Kai.
