"Ska is a type of Jamaican music combining elements of traditional mento and calypso with an American jazz and rhythm and blues sound. It is notable for its shuffling, scratchlike tempo and jazz-like horn riffs on the offbeat." It's good if you ignore the third wave stuff. except the Aquabats. Wow looks like someone knows there crap. 3rd wave is good if your in the mood, I really enjoy the revivalist sounds of The Slackers, Hepcat, The Aggrolites and Chris Murray to The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish and Bands of those nature but you being from UK probably had it up to your ass with The Specials and The Beat. But I LOVE the beat so i'm biased Specials are really good, The Beat i never really got into. I know im generalising with the third wave bashing but the summer of four years ago it just got too much for me. TOO MUCH.

Hawthorne Heights My Chemical Romance Green Day ... Basically bands of that nature. Oh, and that Lil' Chris kid. What a hughead. Agreed on basically all of those (though I've never heard Hawthorne). Am I the only person who thinks the singer for My Chemical Romance sounds like he's getting stabbed/shot/burned/giving birth while he's singing? Which reminds me Does anyone else think, John Mayer sings like he has a Mouth Full of peanut butter? Damn I desperatley want to give that man a glass of Milk

He has nothing of quality in his voice. Basically, he can't sing. He's the leader of the band, yet he's the weakest link. CAG. They should kick him out for being dead weight.

He's really pretty good, but that's barring that sandpaper-throat he has.

I like KISS, which probably means I should be burned alive or worse.
Anyway, my current least favorite band is a Finnish group called Sunrise Avenue. Their latest single "Forever Yours" is one of the few songs that make me want to slit my wrists whenever I hear it on the radio (along with Gwen Stefani's "Wind It Up", RHCP's "Snow (Hey-O)" and a few others that they play 17 times a day).
Wikipedia describes "Forever Yours" as a "hard, dynamic rock song", which is the biggest load of bullcrap I have heard in a long time. It's actually a HORRIBLE pop-rock emo crap ballad thing with a whiny lead singer crying out lyrics like "SHAME ON YOU BAY-BEEE, FOOOREEVER YOOOUURS" delivered in such an amazingly annoying manner that you want to shoot someone, preferably yourself, immediately.

He's good but not how everything says he is. nto a great guitar player, terrible singer. GOOD songwriter but foudn his niche to easy(check out Weird Al's Song "bob" and you'll know). but Bob Dylan is a Mediocre Artist that gets too big a following. yes he's a Legend, yes hes great, but he shouldn't be worshipped ow he is

Trivium Avenged Sevenfold Atreyu Bullet for my Valentine (notice a pattern?) Agreed, but Avenged Sevenfold is not as bad as the rest of them. That song they had on Madden '06 was pretty catchy. Still wouldn't listen to them, though.

lol the Kiss Army makes me Laugh Yeah, well, I used to visit a KISS message board some years ago, and let's just say that some of those hardcore KISS fans are flat-out scary. Those fan(atic)s pretty much take KISS more seriously than the FREAKING BAND does, and there honestly was more whining about trivial stuff than there is on the WWE-Current section here. Not cool.

I used to post on a Nirvana One, and you would get flamed for Saying you like the Nevermind Cd instead of one of the stupid Rareities album. Kiss become rediculous when I saw the condoms, and the Casket. than i said f*** it to them and have hated them since

And the emos/younger teens will mourn his loss forever.
