On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my hair The warm smell of colitas Rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway I heard the mission bell And I was thinking to myself This could be heaven or this could be hell Then she lit up a candle And she showed me the way There were voices down the corridor I thought I heard them say
Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place, such a lovely face There's plenty of room at the Hotel California Any time of year, you can find it here
Her mind is definitely twisted She's got her Mercedes Benz She's got a lotta pretty, pretty boys That she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard Sweet summer sweat Some dance to remember Some dance to forget
So I called up the captain Please bring me my wine He said "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969" And still those voices they're calling from far away Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say
Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place, such a lovely face They're livin' it up at the Hotel California What a nice surprise, bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceilling, the pink champaign on ice And she said "We are all just prisoners here of our own device" In the masters chambers they're gathered for the feast They stab it with their steely knifes but they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was runnin' for the door I had to find the passage back to the place I was before "Good night" said the night man "We are programmed to receive You can check out anyytime you like, but you can never leave"

Have any of you guys been doing something and got a really strong feeling of Deja Vu? Or had any dreams about stuff that'll happen and then it happens?

When you see familiar faces But you don't remember where they're from Could you be wrong?
When you've been particular places That you know you've never seen before Can you be sure?
'Cause you know this has happened before And you know that this moment in time is for real And you know when you feel deja-vu
Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before
Ever had a conversation That you realise you've had before Isn't it strange
Have you ever talked to someone And you feel you know what's coming next It feels pre-arranged
'Cause you know that you've heard it before And you feel that this moment in time is surreal 'Cause you know when you feel deja-vu
Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before
Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before Feel like I've been here before
I know about the rules, with the one song per page. But this one is relavent

Same here actually, and every time it happens I have to wonder why I can't dream about lottery numbers. ;D Like one time, a few years ago, I had a dream I about lunch time at school. Next day comes, and lunch time goes almost exactly the way it does in the dream. Right down to the smallest details.

Yeah, I'll have a conversation with my friends in a dream, and soon enough, in real life, there I am, quoting myself verbatim from the dream.

Have any of you guys been doing something and got a really strong feeling of Deja Vu? Or had any dreams about stuff that'll happen and then it happens? Yes and yes. Here's one of my most often remembered, despite the overall simplicity of it all: Remember the Micro Machines movies line? No? In fact you're just looking at me funny? Fine. Anyway MM had a line of playsets and vehicles/figures based off of various action flicks like Terminator II, Predator, so on and so forth. One night I dreamt I was at Wal-Mart when I was quite young, wandering the aisles when suddenly I discovered Aliens Micro Machines (I was a big Aliens flick mark when I was younger, anything with aliens really), I was like "COOL!" (it's odd, all of my dreams have little details like this that stick out). Much to my amazement, a few weeks later, I'm roaming the toy aisle of a Wal-Mart, and what do I see? ALIENS MICRO MACHINES. I totally bought a pack (the one containing the Nostronomo (sp?) ship, an APC, a soldier, and the Queen). It was weird, man.

It's freaky, but the feeling of everything falling into place is a kinda cool.
