What is a talent or a skill you had as a kid that you can no longer do as an adult
When I was a kid I used to be able to rollerblade and skateboard real well but that shit faded as I got older and I probably haven't touched rollerblades since I was like 14. Obviously you never forget who to ride a bike but I can'r do tricks on it anymore
What is a skill or talent you had and don't anymore?

As a kid and a teen I could run fairly fast for a long long time. Would skateboard off and on. And could jump fairly high.
Lost these skills as an adult when I blew out my left knee. Which happened a bit over a month after I turned 18.

The ability to enjoy a hot dog without thinking about how it was made, what's in it, the cholesterol, the fat...

I was quite athletic as a kid I could jump over really tall things etc... But then I discovered fast food ¬.¬
To my disappointment as well I can no longer make Owl noises with my hands.

The splits. As in Jean-Claude Van Damme style splits up until early teens.
I will tear a muscle (quad?) just thinking about it.

My parents would always proudly have me recite the alphabet backwards to people, I could say it as fast as forward. I couldn’t do that now to save my life.

I was a local spelling bee champion in the 4th grade.
Auto correct ruined me.

I was a pretty talented football (or soccer) player in my teens. Pretty skillful, good passer, good tackler but slow. But I was good, was one of the school team's better players.
Tried playing with some local kids in Myanmar earlier this year, first time playing since I left school 15 years ago, and I was awful. Absolutely shite, like I'd never kicked a ball in my life. I was embarrassingly bad lol.

Memorizing levels and enemy placement in NES and SNES games. Of course, that was when I'd spend hours playing video games and didn't have any actual responsibilities.

Eat most foods and not become a bloated mess. Yeah, having good metabolism and a lot of energy was great. Ah, those were the days.

I had a good singing voice before I hit puberty. Was in a performance choir, sang for the Aussie Prime Minister.
I was a very good soccer player as 12-15 year old, I played with a few guys that went on to play professionally & also play for Australia. However the main reason I was good was my height, I'm 5' 10" not super tall or anything but I was 5' 10" when I was 13. I haven't grown an inch since. I also hurt my knee & hurt my shoulder quite seriously. The shoulder will never be 100% again.
I was a decent middle distance runner too but the knee & shoulder stops me running any long distances.

I used to be able to sing until 7th grade. I was always in choir.
I could run long distances with speed in the Army. Military helped develop my speed. I was a top 5 guy in my company. Now my knees are done, my right hip gives me fits some days, and no matter how much limbering up I do now I can't go 90 feet without my right quad tightening up. That and going blind affected my softball skills. I played fast pitch softball 7 years. Recklessly attacking any ball hit to me. Now, I've seen too many people get blasted in the face with a come-backer while they pitch. And they ask me to. My pitching skill is throwing them. Still got that going for me.

I used to be able to jump and climb to high places. I used to do it to mess with people. I’d be in the frozen food section of the supermarket and I’d just jump up, grab the top of the freezer and pull myself up and over to the top without making a sound. The person I was with would wonder where I went. I’d watch them walk around confused for a couple minutes and then I’d start laughing and they’d be wondering how I got up there. People told me I could move like a cat. I got into weightlifting and I put on some muscle so I got a little too heavy to do that stuff anymore. Going from 150 to 200 pounds grounded my jumping. It was fun while it lasted.
