All week, Comedy Central has had Zach Braff host Scrubs to promote his new movie, uh...something or other. I'm seeing in the previews that Jason Bateman is playing an outlandish character, and it seems kinda weird. For anyone that's a fan of Arrested Development, you know that Bateman is pretty much the perfect straight man, which is why the movie is looking kinda weird to me. It looks like it might be funny...it just seems the rolls are a little out of wack.
...Am I nitpicking?

Ahh the leads from Scrubs and Arrested Development. If the movie is half as good as those two shows than it will be a great movie.

I don't think it'll work with those two. Unless they throw in like Carrell or something

I like Braff, and I like Bateman, so I might give this a shot.

The last time I put my faith in Braff outside of Scrubs I got Garden State.
Now mind you I wouldn't mind looking at a picture of Natalie Portman on the big screen for two hours while "The Mexican Hat Dance" played, but Garden State made me want to stick a spork in my eye.

The trailer ran for it tonight in the theater, never been a quieter room. It's gonna suck.

If I found a spork in a movie theater, I'd do an Irish Jigg.

See, the reason I like Zach Braff is due to Scrubs.... I'm excited for this movie since it's finally a straight-up comedy for him to be involved with. It's not SUPPOSED to be this amazing movie, and is very formulaic.. however, 99.9% of all movies are formulaic, yet we still watch them.
Plus, with Jason Bateman palying opposite him... it's impossible for me not to enjoy this movie.
