Is there a list of the movies of this 200-movie set? The original post had a link to the set. There is a picture of the list. (Two pages) I have seen twenty eight of the movies on that list. And I'd say the entire price is justified by the inclusion of "Bloody Pit of Horror" Thanks, I see it now. There's a bunch of movies on this that I wouldn't call 'horror'... the Bulldog Drummond movies are more detective/adventure films, "Hand of Steel" is sci-fi, there's a Mr. Moto detective movie... Though, at that price, I'd probably get it if I stumbled across it. Also, years ago there was a "Review a Movie You Just Watched" thread on the board here and I went through two of those 50-movie sets, and "Bloody Pit of Horror" was on one of those sets. And I loved it. I remember thinking the ending was like if Cesar Romero's Joker went over the edge and started killing people on the set of the Batman TV series.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Years back during an Amazon sale I got two 50 movie sets for 8 bucks total. They were from Mill Creek and titled Pure Terror and Drive in Classics. Pure Terror included a bunch of Crown International films, most of which looked good. Drive in Classics was the usual PD stuff plus some films I have never seen on any other set. My plan was every week to watch 4 of the movies. Made it about 12 films into Drive in Classics and maybe 30 or so films into Pure Terror and then tapped out.

Have you ever checked out the 200 movie Drive-In Classics released by Mill’s Creek? I wasn’t that interested as I’m pretty sure 50 movies in the set were released years ago in their 50 movie Drive-In release. But then I was just scanning it as Amazon recommended it after some recent purchases and it looks like it has some stuff that may be of interest. It’s only about $26, but I’ll hold off for now. This set and some other collections I ordered today should keep me busy for a long time though. I’m definitely planning to jump around with the sets though rather than go straight through. Maybe do some double features a couple times a week or so. Perhaps even do a four film marathon on days I have off where I feel like being really lazy. I don’t know if I’ll ever watch every film. When my sets get here at the top of my list is watching double features of C.H.U.D./C.H.U.D. 2 and Creepshow/Creepshow 2 as it has been years since I’ve seen any of those. For the 200 film collection Bloody Pit of Horror is definitely at the top of my list. Any suggestion on what I can pair it with for a double feature?

I am the wrong person to ask about Bloody Pit of Horror, cause I hated that movie lol.

I bought several 50 horror movie sets, that I'm assuming were all put into this box set-I love watching them when I'm in the mood, but there are some that are more mystery than horror-I would imagine since they are public domain, they are available on Youtube and archive.org, but that is a heck of a price

So far based on recommendations I’ve seen (either here or elsewhere for) the order I’m watching is: Bloody Pit of Horror Nightmare Castle Blancheville Monster Satan’s Slave Werewolf Woman Naked Massacre Anatomy of a Psycho Bloody Brood Bucket of Blood Horror Express Shriek in the Night Funeral Home Nightmare in Wax

The Sadist was good, not exactly a horror, but more of a tale of terror-you'll see what I mean. I adore Horror Express, and Attack of the Giant Leeches was fun and they incorporated some old rock and roll music into it-and of course classics like Phantom of the Opera and Nosferatu are two of the biggest names in here.

Haha some of the ones you mentioned are some I already owned and also enjoyed Somewhere in storage I have the Undertaker and His Pals on a double feature DVD with Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things. One of my favorite budget double feature releases! I also have The Sadist as a budget double feature with The Killing Kind. The former is the better of the two films and the only movie Arch Hall, Jr. was ever in where he played a role that fit him. Also, while the movie itself isn’t too good, the Killing Kind does have a classic insult when the main character is yelling at his mother, “You’re nothing, but a fat whore...FAT WHORE!” It’s all in the delivery. My friends and I used to use it as an insult in my senior year of high school. Jeez it has been a long time since I’ve watched either of those! Is Horror Express the same movie as Night Train To Terror with a different title? I figure they’re probably different, but since you mention it having rock music I thought it might actually be the same thing since rock was a big component in the wraparound story of Night Train to Terror. I don’t think I’ve seen Attack of the Giant Leeches unless it was a less memorable episode of MST3K. I’ll have to check that one out

Biggest set I own is probably the Monty Python Flying Circus box I have the original of this with the thick plastic cases. Takes a lot of space, but looks great on a shelf.

There was a goofy (and still totally believable at the time for the format) April Fool's joke a few years back announcing a 30+ disc Young & the Restless DVD set.

I believe that Horror Express is the one with Christopher Lee and Christopher Plummer fighting some kind if alien vampire on a train in Siberia... if it is, it's a lot of fun. The one scene where they figure out what that creature is breaks credibility so hard you can hear it snap. It also has Telly Savalas as a Russian soldier who tries to rob the train.

Biggest thing I own is (was) a full Godzilla set of movies from the first thru Final Wars. Has something like the Simpsons ever done a "here's everything" set? Or is it only single seasons. The Simpsons hasn't because it hasn't ended yet. But maybe once it does... That would probably be $300 by the time it's over. I have 2 big complete series sets. I have the Lost blu ray series set in a replica of the temple. I also have the complete 1987 TMNT cartoon series set that came with a replica of the Turtle Van.

I dug my 200 Tales of Terror set out of my back room today. I’ve been watching a bunch of Something Weird movies lately, but am running out of new Something Weird stuff I have on hand. So I’m going to check out at least one random movie from this set
