My daughter got the Wrestlemania 2 steel cage ring as well as like a dozen wrestling figures. Yes, she asked Santa for these. I had NOTHING to do with it.
Anyways, hanging up on my wall are Droz, Owen Hart, & Blue Blazer figures. My daughter has told me in the past she wants me to take them down for her & I told her no.
But now that she has a ring, I am considering it. What do you all think?

Can't you find duplicates, or are they too rare?

I'm honestly unsure about just how much they would be worth. I mean, sure there's bound to be a couple people on Ebay who will pay for them, but i can't imagine it being more than maybe $20-30 a figure. So just weight that against seeing your daughters happy smiling face while having her Steel Cage match between Droz and Blue Blazer.

Unless the figures are Ultra Limited Editions, signed by the wrestler, or have some other "added value", I say let your daughter play with them! Collections are fine and all, but action figures are made to be played with

Think of it this way, Owen would want you to please your daughter. He was a family man

And you should use the Blazer figure yourself, to teach her how smoking is bad, and other important life messages. Owen would want it that way.

If you're keeping them up there for sentimental value, dont open them.
If its monetary value, open them.

Owen would want you to please your daughter. That is arguably the most unintentionally disturbing post ever!

C' mon, these are just plastic characters and by the way, they are TOYS. It' s meant to be played with, not kept on a wall ! So just give her the figures !
Also, you and her could make awesome storylines with the Blue Blazer and Owen Hart figures, trying to make people belive they' re not the same person ;D.

I think it depends on how well your daughter takes care of her toys. Go buy more at the toy store, leave'em on the wall this option would work.Buy her three figures. That;s one more than what she wanted to play with.Plus let her pick which wrestlers she wants. She'll be too distracted to play with owen since she has her [insert wrestler name] figure with her.

also think of this. She knows you have them. Once she gets a bit older and more innovative, she will find them and open them herself. Might as well get the inevitable out of the way.

No to Droz and Owen, but yes to the Blue Blazer...you don't really know who the Blazer is/was.
