It's arguable Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the worst part of that film. I'd love to hear an argument that anything else in that movie was worse. (Besides the length of Cranston's screen time) I loved it but I've heard the complaint constantly that it's dull, or boring or too drawn out. I disagree, but I get it. I loved the movie and it's pacing, I think it was the right way to re introduce Godzilla, but f*** Aaron and his lame ass job at whatever the f*** kinda acting that was supposed to be.

Looking forward to the new trailer. Monsters so far look amazing!
Regarding the first movie, I didn't mind Aaron Taylor-Johnson's acting. To me, it made sense for him to remain neutral in the situations he was in. His job was bomb disposal. You have to be able to keep a cool head in pressure situations. Him freaking out at seeing these things would seem odd to me given his job.

However that initial film trailer with him and the marines HALO jumping through the thunderstorm into the kaiju battleground was awesome af.

I can understand people's issues with his acting, but it worked for me. And yes that trailer is one of my favorites of all time.

I hope it's better than the first one which I found very forgettable.
I don't give a shit about humans. I want monsters smashing shit up for 2 hours.
Maybe I'd have liked it more if Cranston wasn't killed off after 20 minutes to be replaced by a guy as charismatic as a sponge.

It was pretty in line with classic Godzilla movies really in terms of screen time. I mean there were some that were a bit more action packed but a lot of them kind of built up to the big fight at the end. Looks like the sequel will be more action packed going by the trailers. Agree though about Cranston. Dude was wasted. Should have been around to advise on nuclear stuff

Early monster action, fight in the middle where Godzilla usually gets beaten, final battle where Godzilla wins. I think in terms of screen time, there's very little difference between Legendary's movie and the classic movies. Only real difference I think is that Legendary's movie is longer so it just seems like Godzilla's on less.

Boo that annoying Middleditch guy is in it
Yaaay it’s the director of Krampus.
It certainly sells itself as the sequel the first one deserves. Love that final head-to-head.

For some odd reason that tower really scared 5 year old me. The giant monsters walking around didn't... but that damn tower. I honestly have no clue why. EDIT: Ah no wait that was VS Gigan I think. My brain scrambles up the movies with Gigan/Megalon/Mechagodzilla from that timeframe

Ghidorah is really something else in this man. I don't think I've ever seen such an imposing anything in anything.
