Another Christmas has come and gone, and for the first time in about 10 years, I actually received some videogames. On top of that, I picked up Genesis Collection a couple weeks ago, and that has plenty of games as is.
So my question is, who here has ever been in a position in which they had so many new games to play, and how did you decide which ones to play? I ask this because I was already heavily involved with Phantasy Star IV on the Genesis Collection, but now I have some new games I got as gifts. While I don't mind trying them out, I don't want to get hooked on them until I finish Phantasy Star. But I know the people who gave them to me will ask about them.
That just had me wondering about what you all do in moments like this. Not that it's a bad thing, of course. It's great to have plenty of new games, right? ;D

I decide which to play by what the most addicting is honestly. Right now I'm playing Tenkaichi 2, then I'll play Shenmue 2, Sega Genesis Collection and finish out with Phantasy Star Universe(Plan on doing the Phantasy stars in order). If it's a great story game then I'm definitely putting that one first in line, see Bully

I actually save the most addicting one for LAST, because if I played the addicting one first, it would over shadow my time to play the other ones.

I'm near the end of Gears Of War Loved every minute, it's pretty creepy in parts Don't forget to play the online when you're done with the single player. Also, remember that the single player has lots of replay value thanks to 3 difficulty settings and the fact that you can Co-Op the entire single player. That alone is several achievements(beating each Act of each difficulty and playing as Dom in the Co-Op).

I got the new Smackdown, Need for Speed Carbon, Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, and today I went out and got Street Supremacy (obscure PSP title which is actually just a renamed Japanese racing series which I mark out for, love those games, "Shutokou Battle", we normally get them as ugh, "Tokyo Xtreme Racer (insert number here)"), and the EA Replay pack of oldschool games for PSP, I ALMOST got Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops but with all I have on my plate right now and my upcoming 16 hours of courses this semester, I simply decided I'd wait till I had time for it. Summer or something.
I'm probably gonna get SingStar Rocks for my girlfriend or something, she seemed to like it.

I'm in this boat. I got Tony Hawk, Prey, Gun, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance...I've been working on Gun first, then I think I may do a combo of Tony Hawk and Marvel...plus I still have WoW to do.

AOE III War Cheifs Expansion is too addictive. I have so many games, but it's the only one I've played so far.

I didn't get any games for Christmas, but I keep buying games even before I've finished the one before. I've got got sealed games going back to the N64 that I haven't started. Here's just a few of the games I bought in the past year that I haven't opened yet.
Paper Mario 64 (N64) Viewtiful Joe (GC) Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC) Killer 7 (GC) Resident Evil 4 (GC) XIII (PS2) Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) Raw Vs. Smackdown (PS2) God of War (PS2) Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (XB) Halo 2 (XB) The Warriors (XB)
And there's probably three or four others I'm forgetting.

I have ongoing play invested in several games ...
Monster Rancher 4 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (hey, you have twins and beat that game expediently) Sega Genesis Collection (Phantasy Star II and Sword Of Vermilion) Jak & Daxter
You know what I do? I switch when the mood hits to switch. Yeah, not scientific at all. But that's how I do it. Today, I may be in a PS2 mood (i.e., desiring beating my head upon the floor for the difficulty of the game). Tomorrow, I may want something a little more mindless (J&D). All depends on the mood.
Jed Shaffer ~And at current rate of play, the PS2 will die before I finish ANY of those games.

I don't what it is, but i just do not have the enthusiasm for videogames these days, so if i buy a new game, i might play for roughly a week, and then let it gather dust. I used to play alot of old school games now it's gone quiet. My love affair with games seems to be over...

I'm working on FFXII and Zelda: Wind Waker (I have to finish my old saved game from 2 years ago).
I have received Zelda: TP and Bully for X-Mas. This'll be good.

I've got a ton of games I need to buy. I mean, I need Baten Kaitos: Origins for GameCube, then the remastered Final Fantasy's for GBA, the Fire Emblem sequel for GBA, then Wii and DS games once I have my hands on those. I get the feeling like I'm not gonna get my hands on everything I want.
