That was some horrible football from HJK. Felt they had the chance to come back into this in the second leg, but they looked like they didn't even try to do so. Deservedly eliminated. Hopefully next season the squad will be build better, without multiple has-beens in the starting lineup.

And the Toon draw away at Cardiff. Now I'm starting to worry - Losing at home to Spurs wasn't a disaster and we did play well, but that performance against the Bluebirds, jeez.
looks like another season in the bottom half followed by Benitez leaving. And while he'll be going to a top level team, he may not leave a top-level one behind.

Richarlison - Tosun - Walcott looking like a pretty canny front three for Everton.

Mourinho having a pop at Man City, saying they “can’t buy class”. What does he know about class?

Arsenal are very poor defensively. It was a strange match because I thought Chelsea was the better team throughout and they never really looked in trouble at any point (outside the two goals in four minutes), but if Mkhitaryan and PEA bury those sitters, it’s a 4-3 win for the Gooners. I think Arsenal fans need to be patient with Emery and realize that this is gonna take time. The other thing is that, realistically, their best shot at Champions League football next season is through Europa. They need to prioritize it ahead of everything else and they have the perfect manager for it because Emery is a cup competition wizard.

Mourinho having a pop at Man City, saying they “can’t buy class”. What does he know about class? I haven’t seen any of the City show, so I have no idea what he’s even on about, but just for once, man, please take the high road. I want three points at Brighton. That’s what I want. I don’t care about snide jibes at Pep and City. Just pick an attack-minded XI, I beg of you.

For one, look at how he treated the team doctor at Chelsea. I’ve no problem with his footballing decisions, he’s a good coach and one of, if not the best Managers in the world when it comes to tactical strategy. But he’s an arrogant prick. And “just for once”? What exactly is that insinuating?
