The Packers and Aaron Rodgers have agreed on a 4yr/ $33.5m$134m extension. Dude is one of the best in the game, but that is an absurd amount of money, considering he's 35 and coming off several injuries over the last few years. Basically: It's Super Bowl or bust

I mean, I kinda feel for him. His deal was for 1 year and we know he's not seeing any playing time this year in New Orleans

Jets signed him on for insurance and I thought he had a legit chance at being a starter for them this year but Darnold showed he was ready even though I think letting Teddy or Josh take the lumps early on is the better option

Vikings Fan here:
Teddy's a great dude. I hope he finds a good home eventually. He's got the skills to be a good starter. He's basically a victim of circumstance and luck so far.
Bless you Teddy. I hope you get your chance.
I'm fairly surprised a team like the Broncos didn't go after him.

Bridewater as Brees successor? I can't imagine they'd trade a third unless they plan to keep him around longer than a year.

Disappointed as I thought this contract was going to change the game as far as salary and instead is going to be looked at as a bargain three years from now

The Packers and Aaron Rodgers have agreed on a 4yr/$33.5m extension. $134M i'm hearing $103 million guaranteed
80 million of it is paid by 2019
This is a great deal for the Packers. They massively front loaded the contract and they will be able to maintain cap flexibility to retain important players like Clinton-Dix and Bahktiari when they become FA in 2019 and 2020. This is just like his last deal. Great job by Gute and Russ Ball.

Mychal Kendricks is gone from Cleveland after insider trading that he conspired with TV writer Damilare Sonoiki.
The Securities and Exchange Commission are going to be on his ass.
