Oh yeah, I always forget about those ancient pics of "Powerlifter" Kevin Sullivan. That's nutty. How'd he wind up a doughy cultist? He started out doughy. I think I posted the pictures in reverse - That middle one is what he started out like, then he went into bodybuilder mode for a couple of years and turned into the one of the left. Once he got to Florida and then Crockett/JCP, he stopped doing that and kind of ended up in the middle of the two.

Pac/Neville seems like a good candidate for this thread.

Now that one's because he broke his back and had to drop the power-brawler stuff, right?

Now that one's because he broke his back and had to drop the power-brawler stuff, right? Pretty much. He was already starting to tone that look down a bit already, and the crash just made the decision easier...for want of a better way to phrase that.

Is it me or does Ric resemble Dusty Rhodes in that first picture? Part of the reason he originally wanted to be billed as Ric Rhodes, Dusty's brother; as he was training with Verne, the Texas Outlaws were a huge draw up there. And Ric was a Dusty fan. (Personally, I think he looked like an experiment trying to create a Bruiser & Crusher combo.)

According to Ric (or at least that time he told it) Dusty gave his blessing but Verne shot it down, pointing out what a great name Flair was.

Is it me or does Ric resemble Dusty Rhodes in that first picture? Yep They actually used to call him Dusty Jr apparently. My picks are Scott Steiner and EC3. Steroids are a hell of a drug.
