I'm pretty tired of the rematch clause thing. It burns out certain match ups to the point that you never want to see it again. Eh, I don't that's implicitly on the rematch clause itself, because they ran AJ vs. Nakamura into the ground, and there were no rematch clauses involved because AJ never dropped to Shinsuke. They just don't know how to space out feuds for the most part.

So AJ/Joe is going to follow the AJ/Nak formula with out the nut shots ugh! HIAC goes countout or double DQ. Then another rematch a a big foreign house show f*** finish, then a maybe a gimmick at Survivor Series and definitely a TLC match in December lmao This is going to be proven so right and it makes me sad.

And because Jeff Hardy wants to punish his vertebral column Randy Orton, his match will now be contested inside the cell.

Put broken-down Jeff inside the cell, good thinking WWE.

Isn't Jeff working injured? What the f*** is going on? We are talking about Jeff Hardy. In 2011, he did a Swanton off the top of a steel cage in his first PPV match after his return following Victory Road.

So I'm assuming we get Drew/Dolph vs. Seth & Dean (gotta get all the gold on the Shield right?), Corbin/Finn (sigh) and Lashley/KO (siiiiigh) get added to this soon.

This Joe/Styles feud sucks. I think I'd prefer a "let's fight here cause we've fought everywhere else" type of non-build build over this daddy wasn't there stuff.

It's interesting. Usually, the problem is that there is barely one match that really justifies Hell in a Cell, let alone 2.
This year, they've got several programs that could reasonably use Hell in a Cell.

The poster works. Strength and knowledge are two important tenets of Satanism, and as we know the Big Dog is the strongest, smartest, handsomest, most charismatic, king of karaoke, and so forth.

This PPV should be good and probably will, but it will definitely suffer from f*** finishes like Summerslam did.
Charlotte and Becky is definitely ending in a DQ or countout setting up a gimmick match for Evolution.
I stand by my prediction or theory for AJ/Joe will be like AK/Nak and after watching the SD segment could they have made it even more obvious without the Cell gimmick that match at HIAC is going to have a f*** finish? Seriously. This feud is so personal and on SDL Joe wanted to use a chair and on SDL and SummerSlam AJ did use a chair.

This year, they've got several programs that could reasonably use Hell in a Cell. The other problem is that they've got Super Show Down in a few weeks, and then a huge f***ing gap until Survivor Series (except if you're in the Women's Division, and you've got another PPV in a few weeks), so they are rather light on feuds they can actually wrap up at this show, so we get WWE title match AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe outside the Cell because they can't blow it here. The takeaway here is that the PPV schedule obviously wasn't constructed with the product in mind, and instead was dictated likely out of circumstance with when they could put the Australia show, and which show they could transform into Evolution.

They got that second Saudi Arabia show too, not long after Evolution? I keep forgetting that's even happening aside from everyone pointing out the juxtaposition of the Evolution PPV and the Saudi show being a state-mandate sausage-fest. I assume it's actually going to air on the Network and not be a house show because KSA ain't paying for just a house show in a fancy stadium. That might actually help things, because then the gap between Super Showdown and Survivor Series means they can blow off the Fall programs here.

In kayfabe terms it makes no sense that Paige wouldn't make it a no DQ match after the first match at Summerslam ended in a DQ.
