Because there have been some doozies. I was thinking about this due to the thread about the Million Dollar Corporation. But honestly I think TNA’s Revolution has them beat; creepy cult like stables are one thing and are not remotely new-but such a stable consisting of the former beer part of Beer Money, a luchador, and an already beat up and worn down Abyss stretched it pretty darn far. And anyone who answers The Dungeon of Doom gets a knock upside the head.

Paul Jones Army, regardless of who was in it. Dude was just a f'ing brutal promo. And trying to make himself resemble Hitler was beyond the pale.

It's a shame because those 4 dudes on paper should work as a unit and they had some fun interactions (Barrett dancing with New Day) but it just didn't stick
I think if you did that again now with Sheamus, Cesaro, Rusev, and English as the unofficial 4th member it would be a lot of fun. Hell, throw KO in there (that was blasphemous to say a few years ago)

I'll go with the Million Dollar Corporation as it was less than the sum of it's parts. Sid was always over and fun to watch in his weird way, Kid was a great worker, Bam Baml was one of the best big men in wrestling history, Tatanka was a servicable midcard act who could have gone places with an interesting turn, DiBiase was a great promo man, Kama at least looked intimidating outside of the ring, as did Bundy and IRS was a good hand to work tag matches with any of the rest... But it didn't work, everybody joining the faction came off looking worse than they were going in. With the Dungeon of Doom, few of the guys had the level of upside the Corporation guys did, you knew their purpose was to eat a big boot and leg drop from Hogan so he wasn't doing it to Flair and Vader on a weekly basis.

Jimmy Hart's First Family late in the lifespan of WCW has to be up there. Any stable that involves Jerry Flynn isn't worth watching.

There have been numerous small stables that were pretty bad like DCC right after Revolution and so on but I can't go and rant on them cause they were there to give some fresh air as they are usually consisted of wrestlers that have nothing to do at the moment, usually midcarders lead by one upper main event leader.
So I will take into considerations only main event stables or stables that were consisted of main eventers but went no where. WCW was pretty notorious with these especially with millionth reincarnation of the Horsemen that was worse every time they did it over and over again. You have Hennig in Horsemen and yet it goes nowhere just like Million Dollar Corporation. This has far more weight than tDoD which was nothing but Hogan's former WWE opponents in one place stuck together for Hogan's amusement.
Stables that had triple A name guys and went no where are huge disappointments but only thing that could be worse than that is someone's wet dream of being a Horsemen so he pairs himself with Flair and throws in two big prototype built dudes to stack up on credibility and then shoves it down our throats like he .. I mean they are a big deal. Everything Triple H did post '00 has nothing to do with a good wrestling show or angle or whatever, it had everything to do with building himself some credibility in the history so he can say he was a big deal. Yeah, he is a big deal in wrestling but not in a way he wants you to think. That's why we got Evolution, random stable that had everything to do with Triple H's ego and him putting a grip on the main even scene. It was soooo artificial.

The Magnificent Seven right at the end of WCW was terrible. Flair, the Steiners, Jarrett, Luger, Bagwell and Road Warrior Animal, sounds ok on paper but god awful in execution in 2001 WCW. NWO 2000 with Jarrett and the neo-nazi Harris twins was pretty bad. NWO B-Team was horrible with Stevie Ray and Vincent being some of the most prominent members.

When they implied that Edge replaced Eddie, that shit legit pissed me off. My pick is the Dungeon of Doom. It was only created because Hogan didn’t trust anyone in wcw, and nobody semi serious wanted to put Hogan over.
