I think it is presumptuous to assume that HHH and Vince are mad. I am confident that HHH absolutely does not care. Vince runs around at 100 mph and probably thought bout it for like 2 seconds before getting on with his work day. It just seems since they bought wcw and wcw they feel there should be no valid organizations beyond theres. They've openly acknowledged Ring of Honor, TNA and New Japan on their website and/or on the air in the last few years. Aside from the ROH/MSG scheming, they haven't done anything malicious or untoward against any of the big indy/foreign groups. I'd be far more willing to believe Hunter/Vince gave Cody a call of congrats rather than shaking their fists at a TV all night. |

I almost see it as less "Grrr, we're evil and we have to get around anti-trust laws because we're EVIL and have to BREAK EVERY LAW to show how EVIL we are!" and more Sad HHH being Sad that there are toys he doesn't get to play with. |

When they weren't signing a lot of indie wrestlers, there were a bunch of people screaming that WWE only cares about creating Randy Orton clones and can't recognize all the real talent that was out there that they should have been signing. I know it's not necessarily the same people now complaining that WWE is trying to monopolize wrestling but it seems like a group of people will be be pissed at WWE no matter what they do. |

And that "ROH/MSG scheming" sounded more like MSG making something up to try to force WWE into booking an event there that weekend than WWE actually trying to stop them. |
