Also, those that wanted Hundley gone, I hope you are happy. The backup QB position is now even worse. Deshone Kizer is hot garbage. Brain Gutekunst better pray to god that Rodgers never goes down again because what happened while Rodgers was away tonight is what he gets for handing the #2 job the guy simply because he traded for him, not because he actually won the job.
In all fairness, Kizer DID look a good deal better than Hundley during the preseason. Obviously, tonight he looked less like DeShone Kizer, Preseason Hero and more like DeShone Kizer, Master Of 0-16. I like Kizer, I thought he got a bad rap being thrown on one of the worst teams of all time at age 20 and expected to be the savior of a doomed franchise. That said yes, he was garbage tonight. Let's hope it's just a matter of him not getting many first team reps; not to compare him to Foles, but remember how awful Foles looked last year that first game Wentz was out

Hundley played better. He was far more consistent. He had more scoring drives and led the team right down the field on opening drives the first two weeks. Kizer, while he showed some escapability, was erratic, inconsistent, and had several terrible throws. He got the job because Gute had his buddy in Seattle bail him out by taking Hundley off his hands. Gute didn't want to admit Hundley was better than his guy. He definitely learned from Ted Thompson.

Watch it come out that Rodgers really did tear his ACL on that hit and he just did this on a torn ACL That would almost be worth taking a punt on this season I was just going to say, Rodgers sounded emotional in his interview... like he know something more was wrong with his leg. There is no way on earth the Packers doctors would have allowed him to go back on the field if they even thought he had an ACL injury, especially with all the money they just paid him. The Packers doctors have a reputation of holding players out far longer than most anyone else in the league. Rodgers has dealt with this first hand in the past.

I can't wait until the Brady/Rodgers era is over for but more importantly, for my team (the Bills) to not be steaming hot garbage. Did you SEE the Ravens murder them yesterday? Wowsers!

Washington is going to surprise some people. If they stay healthy, that defense is going to carry them.

Parliament picked off again. Scared to ask why he's called that I am sure that he appreciates any nickname that can't reference his rape allegations. Roethlisburger is truly an unfortunate name under those circumstances, regardless whether he did it or not.

Skip Bayless has already discounting the performance and kissing Tom Brady's ass all in one fell swoop:
Skip Bayless truly is obnoxious at times. As a Colts fan, I got tired of him over his contempt for my team's QB and his unrequited love for Brady. Actually, I get his love for Brady. I really don't get his continued contempt for Andrew Luck. He still to this day trashes Luck as a turnover machine. It's almost as if he still doesn't realize that: A) Luck has never played on a Colts team where he did not have to go balls-out in order for them to have a chance to win, B) he has only had 2 games EVER where the team got a 100 yd rushing performance out of a RB (which meant that he had to produce more than your average QB, C) he has steadily cut down turnovers over the course of his career (you know, the way young and improving players do?), or D) despite his turnovers, he had also been REALLY productive. Did you know that of all of the QBs in the HoF, there is only one who has a better TD:Int ratio than Luck (Steve Young) and one other that more or less matches him (Joe Montana)? Brett Favre, who Bayless thinks highly of, was far more reckless with the ball than Luck is. Honestly, it's really annoying to watch him repeatedly heap undeserved hate on the guy. Having said that, if I was a Packers fan I would be even more scornful of Bayless over his treatment of Rodgers. Like Luck and unlike Brady, Rodgers has played on quite a number of less talented Packers teams that have not lived up to his potential. As much as I like Luck, I freely admit that Rodgers is simply better than him right now and deserves to be recognized as the best QB in the league. Brady has had a phenomenal career, but we have seen that simply being a somewhat competent QB is enough to do good things in New England's system. Brady certainly is more than competent, but he would not be nearly as productive in the environment that Rodgers (or Luck) has to work with. You know another QB who does not get the respect he deserves? Phillip Rivers. Imagine the tear he could have been on for his entire career had he been on the Patriots. Edit: Also, what the hell is so bad about being LeBron? How is that worse than MJ? It's not like MJ ever won anything when he did not have at least two other All-Star players on his team.

There's a decent amount of intrigue for tonight's Monday Night Football doubleheader.
With the Jets and Lions, it's Sam Darnold's first NFL start versus Matt Patricia's first regular season game as a head coach. In the late game, it's largely about exactly how ruthlessly the Rams will maul and humiliate the Raiders in Jon Gruden's return to the sideline.

Bayless is nothing but a troll starved for attention at this point. I guarantee he put that tweet out to bait Packer fans. Packer fans have long figured out that the only reason Bayless says those things is because he is beyond bitter that Rodgers made Favre expendable, that the media actually turned on Favre in favor of Rodgers, and is going to end up being far better QB than Favre ever was in GB. It more than gets balanced out by Stephen A Smith who goes way overboard in the opposite direction. Smith's man crush on Rodgers is just as bad as Bayless's crush on Brady.

The thing with Luck is, Skip spent up all his time up and down claiming RG3 is better than Luck now and will be better than him because of his higher ceiling
When that proved not to be true and Luck led that bum ass Colts team to two playoff runs while RG3 was out injured, he could only lean on Luck is a turnover machine when he ignores that Luck has minimal talent around him and Colts have never really givin him talent outside of old Vets and that ended badly
He's a professional troll but at points you know he believes things like this
