At one point it really seemed like he had it together.
In 2013, Credible was in the legit best shape of his life (only time I recall him having a six-pack) was clean and seemed to be on the right track.
Then he and his family were the victim of a gunpoint tied-up home invasion. Really disturbing to read, and I do wonder if the trauma from that affected him and caused him to relapse and continue to be in such a dark place.

I had no idea about the robbery but I wouldn't be surprised if he's some suffering from some pretty bad untreated PTSD from that. If you look at guys like Scott Hall and Perry Saturn who also have battled substance abuse problems, they also were dealing with the trauma related to violent acts.

Justin Credible is one of my boys.
Hope he finds peace somehow. Maybe DDP should give him a call. He's friends with Hall, isn't he?

I don't really know enough to say on that. Guessing a lot of it is personal, like how there's a lot of people who like Flair, but there are people who refuse to speak to him anymore. I don't know if Justin and Storm made up, for example, after they both got booked for an indies show and Credible no-showed. If I recall, he didn't bother to get into contact with Storm for weeks, and offered no apology, so they weren't exactly buddies for a while. No idea if it's been patched up. Stevie Richards had a shoot where he went on about Credible, saying he'd try and get money from people, loudly profess to be sober but also try to score drugs. He was profoundly unimpressed, but we are talking about Stevie, who is kind of a weirdo, so take that with a grain of salt.

There’s been a documentary about him in the works for a while now. I heard him on the Why It Ended podcast with Robbie E and Matt Koon. He was such a mess on that show. They recently had Brutus Beefcake on and he was clearly under the influence of something too. The hosts have no problem recording them like that either. I don’t know what it is about that podcast but the guests just don’t give a 💩 about what they do or say on there. I hope Credible cleans up his act again but that’s going to be entirely up to him and it doesn’t sound like he wants to. I still wish him all the best and I hope that he will.

He’s also resentful to people that achieved more in wrestling than him, which is like 99% of every wrestler ever.

I need to see the Beefcake part, it sounds like an epic train wreck. It was like listening to an old guy at a bar brag about his life. He was bragging about being in movies while being away from wrestling. Thunder in Paradise was not a movie and it was clearly a gig he got because of Hogan. He was also very boastful about getting to swim in the tank at Disney. He put that over like the highlight of his career. Interesting to note that he didn’t bury Hogan at all while he was hammered. He kind of did completely sober on Sean Mooney’s podcast. Now he just sounded like he missed his old friend. Beefcake returns for a second appearance on Why It Ended and he’s totally sober and explained he was having a little fun that day or however he put it. Then the hosts play a tape of his wife calling them saying they never called Beefcake the day of the first interview when she can clearly be heard in the background during some of it. Maybe she was having a little fun that day too. Who knows?

No need to exaggerate when he's got enough things to, rightfully, he criticized for
