I would have loved that when I was 8 or 9! I gotta check that whole thing out on YouTube. It looks really cool.

Alpha Repertory Television Service (does get a tad political in places)

I would have loved to have seen this show- it looks really interesting and captivating. This is yet another show I had no idea existed until he covered it.

Christmas at Eureeka's Castle I'm not gonna lie, I'm very sad he's not reviewing that Hey Dude episode.

Boy I love what poparena is doing, but I have to question the seemingly high praise he has for this show and the low praise for YCDTOT. Having lived during that era of Nickelodeon I was bored out of my mind during the British stuff (Sorry Brits).

I would have been bored watching Black Beauty when I was 7, but I think I'd really enjoy it now as an adult. YCDTOT is funnier to me now as an adult because I understand a lot more of the humor.

Yeah, and I did enjoy his YCDTOT video for saying what needed to be said, but I don't know... PA giving this show high praise? Maybe it's just because this show isn't my fortay.

I think him being a literature nut also may have added points.

This thread exposed me to these and really enjoying them so far (presently on Mystery Magical Special). Fascinating amount of information in there and it's very commendable how there's even a wealth of stuff in episodes where basically nothing is known about the show.
Also really puts over how long the network's been around that almost 40 episodes in he's still nine years away from things like Are You Afraid of the Dark and Rugrats.
... That said I the only one wondering why that one Nick book he keeps bringing up has Dexter on the cover?

I liked the shorts on Pinwheel so I think I would have really liked By The Way, too. I even think the little framing skits are pretty funny for what they are.

Most of the praise he gave to Black Beauty was due to how cinematic the show looked, for example as he pointed out you didn't see too many crane shots in children's TV shows of that era.

Yeah, it's got some really top-notch cinematography. They put more effort into it than they really needed to and I can appreciate that.
