Looks like a fun series. I assume Double Dare is chronically coming soon. Can't wait 'til they get to my era with Wild & Crazy Kids, Roundhouse, Clarissa Explains It All, Salute Your Shorts and beyond. Soon yet not soon for Double Dare. We still have 6 more shows of 1984 to get through, however many shows were for 1985 as well as the episode on Nick at Nite, then we get to 1986 and Double Dare is in that year, but there would be other shows, as well as an episode on the precursor to the Kid's Choice Awards. And maybe a seperate episode on the Viacom purchase of MTV Networks but that might just be added to a different show's episode.

That'll still be a while, it didn't air on Nick until 1986 I know, but the anticipation is what makes it sweeter. That and I do love the Nick history so very very much.

That show title just sounds shady “Vic’s Vacant lot” "6 year old Timmy's lifeless body was found in the trunk of a rusted out Pinto at Vic's Vacant Lot. Authorities are questioning Vic".

I’m really glad I discovered this series through here because he does an amazing job researching and documenting even the most obscure of these shows. I also like that he gives a shout out to the books and materials he uses at the end of the episodes.

So, with Lassie coming up after Nick Rocks... Only so many times you can see Timmy (or Jeff if you're watching the early episodes) get caught in dangerous situations. I'm kind of surprised with how reboot-happy tv has gotten that we havent seen a remake actually.

Right now they seem to be content with an animated series that started in 2014: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lassie_(2014_TV_series)

So, with Lassie coming up after Nick Rocks... I think Nick only ever aired the first 5 or 6 seasons of the show.

Nick Rocks/Nick jr. Rocks
We enter the splat era as we get the origin of the updated logo and the shift in attitude and sound.
Next up: Lassie

I loved Nick Rocks as a kid (so much great music!). I had no idea about Nick Jr. Rocks at all.

That whole, "Let's ban the word fun. We need to stop telling people it's good and start actually being good," part made me think SO much of WWE.

We're two more live action shows (barring any addendum) left until Bananaman, meaning we're close to talking about animation on Nick.

Gotta admit, I cringed at that whole "screw you mom and dad" kids only ad.

A few updates:
Lassie is going to take a while to finish due to the massive history surrounding the show. Out of Control will likely be a shorter episode around 15 minutes.

How many seasons of Lassie did Nickelodeon show? IIRC they only showed the Jeff and Timmy episodes, dont think they ever got into the color episodes.

Even if, that's ten years in itself to cover.

I believe they only showed the first 6 or so seasons but maybe they ran all the way through 10? I'm not quite sure. But they defiantly didn't air Seasons 11 and on. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lassie_episodes

NK is really reaching the point of shows I actually vaguely remember. He did with me with Pinwheel as I was seeing Nick Jr. reruns of it, as well as You Can't Do That on Television and Today's Special. The one I have VERY vague memories of that I'm waiting to see is Don't Just Sit There (that was a Nick show, right?).
