Sweet. I have that, and I think I have a 2-3 week window for watching on demand with them Yeah something like that. Kinda seems like it depends on what they feel like. Also to answer your other question, only one has been a true remake, but for instance, the most recent has some elements of the OG series.

I love the Serling series, used to hang out with my neighbor, smoke, and binge watch late night marathons so I am so interested in this. I like the idea of them doing classic concepts, but twisting them to throw you off. The murder doll episode was on the other night, probably CityTV, and I got 3 or 4 people hooked on Twilight Zone who had never seen it.

Now it just seems to do whatever.

Which, isn’t a euphemism, I legit have a coax cable that gives me 30 channels for free with no explanation. Right to my house, I have a friend who pays $50 a month for the exact same SD cable and no explanation on why mine works free.

Replay was definitely the best episode yet. Powerful, moving, fantastic yet chilling ending.

Replay was definitely the best episode yet. Powerful, moving, fantastic yet chilling ending. Man the Cop just had that look like a natural heel. Sanaa Lathan was great in her role. My brother told me the ending cause I missed it since I was in the bathroom. When I rewatched it again, damn, Jordan Peele just knew what he wanted to do in that episode. I'm looking forward to the next episode tomorrow with Stephen Yeun going all Twin Peaks heel lol

That 4th episode was my least favorite so far, I just didn't care. The show is just too f***ing long. Only the Nightmare remake I found worthy of it's runtime.
I imagine some intrepid fellow will eventually cut these episodes and post online, to a decent runtime.

The show has trouble being consistent and interesting over its runtime. I'm giving it one more episode before I tap out.

I was pretty excited for another Twilight Zone series but every episode has relied on some form of racial tension in some way so far. It’s getting played out. I’ve seen some people saying this series will surpass the original Twilight Zone series but that’s just not going to happen at all. The original is a classic and holds up for so many reasons. This new series will probably end up being as memorable as the 1985 or 2002 revivals if it keeps going the way it has. I’ll finish the season out. I haven’t given up on it yet.

The fourth episode was...confusing. It's like "Fake News is bad cause it makes people hate others without proof while allowing good people to lie to themselves to feel better" which is good enough for a moral...but then there is like the other 40 minutes of this daggone episode?
If I had to rank them so far, it'd be: 1. Replay 2. Nightmare at 30,000 Feet 3. The Comedian 4. A Traveler

Yeah... I enjoyed the first three. Replay had an important message (even though it was about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face), Nightmare was a fun spin and the Comedian had an interesting commentary on the relationship between art and personal sacrifice... but A Traveller just didn’t do anything for me. I wanted to like it. The actors were trying... the elongation or Traveller’s neck was a creepy visual... but it was just sort of there and it just sort of ended. Don’t get me wrong - it was beautifully shot, but it just felt hollow.
I’m hoping they regain their footing in future episodes.

Haven’t seen the fourth episode yet but disappointed people don’t seem to like it. I was really excited based off of the trailer.
I’ve enjoyed the show but haven’t been blown away yet. Agreed it could stand to be shorter.

The next episode seems like some loose take on "It's a Good Life" if the preview is anything to go by.

Agreed it could stand to be shorter. It's not bad. It's good. It's just too f***ing long. The message and the point and the twist could have gotten to in a solid 30 minutes. You know how Stairway to Heaven is amazing and it's 8 minutes long and they go play it in concert and it's 30 minutes long with great solos and fine playing, but it's all unnecessary? It's like that.

Just saw the 5th episode.
Due to the nature of it and who it is clearly talking about, maybe Jordan Peele should learn some subtlety.
Anyway, it was ok.

Episode 5 might have been the dumbest episode of any Twilight Zone show I’ve ever seen. I get what they were going for but none of it felt believable at all.

It's so obvious, I don't know what to say that won't violate board rules, because discussing it just opens up Andoras's Box. I think the basic react of, "It wasn't like this before!!" when it was, kind of exposes how unsubtle he's being and this episode in particular speaks to a much larger issue. Not with this board, but the discussion of the episode on social media.

Peele wrote none of these episodes so, not really gonna blame him for the subpar pacing and completely unsubtle messages so far. After "Replay" I was hoping the show would pick up, but this last episode was one of the worst episodes of TV I've seen in a while. I think I might be checking out on this one.

It's hard to put into words how disappointing this show has been so far.
