So we're all just breezing past the fact that Baby Yoda ate the unborn children of a sentient life form? I’m pretty sure it was the meme of the week

So we're all just breezing past the fact that Baby Yoda ate the unborn children of a sentient life form? I mean...they were eggs so they weren’t fertile, which was why they had to get to that planet in the first place. It wouldn’t be that different from anyone eating chicken eggs or whatever. Now the spider, yeah, that was the child being a hungry shit. Especially when it essentially caused their ship to get further wrecked. I mean, Anakin slaughtered an entire temple of younglings, and fans joke about that. But yeah, I kinda saw it as he was just eating the eggs. My question is how did the Frog Lady not know some were missing?

He ate unfertilized eggs. That's all.

My question is how did the Frog Lady not know some were missing? I’m pretty sure she knew at one point, especially when he was going near the pool and she was just trying to gather some near her before he wandered off to eat that spider.

There was also the bit at the end of the episode when Baby Yoda looked at the tank and she held onto it a little bit tighter. All things considered, her and her husband must believe in forgiveness when they chose to babysit the hungry little bastard instead of taking him out to the dock and dumping him in the water.

She also held the tank really close to her on the way home and looked at the baby suspiciously. I'm not saying Baby Yoda is a deranged sociopath who wants to eat children...but he's a deranged sociopath who wants to eat children.

It’s more of the case that Baby Yoda is a baby and babies put things in their mouths that they shouldn’t because they don’t understand the world yet. He is a bit smarter than others because he snuck one in to eat but yeah, still a baby. Now if there’s an Episode 10 and Yoda reveals he loves to eat children then...yeah, the whole species are sociopaths. EDIT: I do also think he learned his lesson seeing the young frog baby, though. The fact he didn’t just swallow that thing whole felt like a miracle.

Never trust anybody who is willing to eat another life form while it's still alive, no matter how cute they are. You, too, Sasha.

Now I want to see Baby Yoda stroll into the fetus area of Kamino and come waddling out an hour later looking like Jabba the Hutt.

One thing I just realised that I like about a show like this getting the once a week release on a streaming service. That other then the trailer released months before the season starts, you don’t get network promos, or “Next Week On...” spoiling any surprises. And the cast credits are not shown until after the episode ends so it’s a bigger surprise when a certain character shows up. They do the “Previously On...” though but that can be skipped.
Other then social media or someone flat out telling you, you have no idea what’s gonna happen until you press play.

Sure there’s a few casting leaks, or at least rumours but in terms of actual plot virtually nothing gets out

Bo-Katan looks good for someone who's in her 50s.

I like once a week because it gives time to disvuss each episode, speculate on theories etc. You dont get that when released all at once.

With the fluctuating run times, I’d be okay if they dropped 2 a week but this definitely feels better suited to a weekly format then a binge drop. Although, it is a little disappointing when a new episode drops and it’s 34 minutes with recap and credits. I do wish they were more consistent with the run times, but honestly it’s about the only mild complaint I have about the show

Also, the show is told entirely from Mando's perspective; he's in almost every scene (only one I can think of that he's not is the raiders' first attack on the village in Chapter 4), so we'd either spend way too much time with him or jarringly change the format of the show to start following other characters around.
