Leppard, MC5, The Cure (and I'm not even a fan), and Nicks deserve to be in.

That's what was on! Though my personal favorite is "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth". Bat Out of Hell really is one of those rare "Perfect albums", there's not a clunker in the bunch. All Revved Up is probably the least memorable (mainly because Jim was unwell and they took the chance to do just a regular song that wasn't an epic rather than the various musical versions which go all out) but yeah, not a bad song in there. And hey, Todd Rundgren getting in would be a nice step.

Paradise By The Dashboard Light is, no shit, one of my top five favorite songs ever. That's what was on! Though my personal favorite is "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth". a little recent, and way past his prime and Bat Out Of Hell trilogy songs, but "Los Angeloser" is a very fun tune to jam to.

I know you’re all just DYING to know who I voted for, so here ya go: Out of this year’s nominees, I’m really hoping John Prine goes in.

Admittedly, I don't know much of his newer stuff, but I'll be sure to check it out. The title amuses me haha

Still no Boston or Blue Oyster Cult. Rip and Wally's version was better.

On a side note, am I the only one who prefers Stevie Nicks solo to Fleetwood Mac? I cant say I'm a FM fan, but i like most of the Nicks solo stuff I've heard.

Voted. Though I love Stevie and Def Leppard, they don't really need my vote, so I went with others instead:
The Zombies Roxy Music Janet Jackson Todd Rundgren The Cure
I'm sure I'll vote again, and I'll switch it up a little. Throw some votes MC5's way, and maybe Rufus & Chaka Khan. Spread the recognition around.

The Cure,Joy Division and Kraftwerk not being in years ago show's blatant Americanocentric bias
Kraftwerk are the Hogan/George Washington of Electronic Music and have had their fingerprint in more modern artist's then entire classes

I really wish they had a write-in option so I could vote for Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Dio, Celtic Frost, Death, and Motorhead.

The Cure,Joy Division and Kraftwerk not being in years ago show's blatant Americanocentric bias Kraftwerk are the Hogan/George Washington of Electronic Music and have had their fingerprint in more modern artist's then entire classes The little bios at the bottom of the voting page show how absurd it is that Kraftwerk still isn't in there. They've been eligible since 1995! And nominated five times! Just put them in already, ffs. Outside of Janet (I love her), everyone I've voted for (or will vote for) has been eligible since at least the '90s. In the case of The Zombies, '89. They really need to make up for lost time. Edit: Talking about this compelled me to cast a second ballot. This time I did: Janet Jackson Todd Rundgren MC5 Rufus and Chaka Khan The Zombies Rundgren and Janet are my personal ones, so they stay. The Zombies is on sheer principle, so they stay too. The other two slots I've decided to rotate around. Next time I'll probably do Kraftwerk and one of the overdue ones again.

Still no NIN? Shame and a joke. I think they've been nominated once or twice and then... nothing. I assume they'll get in eventually.

Voted for
Janet Jackson The Cure Todd Rundgren The Zombies MC5
I am surprised that none of The Rat Pack are in the hall. I feel each memeber would at least deserve some place. Other singers are in. Plus Sinatra gave us The Wrecking Crew as a thing as it was his usual band that referred to them as such during the making of "Something Stupid" which was the first time many of The Wrecking Crew had worked together on a project.
Also...The Wrecking Crew deserve at least some nod for everything they have done. Though I know Carol Kaye would refuse to show up as she is very anti hall. She has that "I wouldn't want to be apart of any club that would have me as a memeber" snark to her.
Also holy crap Phil Collins isnt in yet as a solo artist!!??
