Okay, wait, also, what is up with that bit at the end of the movie where Billy's suddenly like, "I'm aging out, aren't you going to throw me out on the street?" after nothing whatsoever in the movie before that even mildly alluded to him being concerned about that? There was a conversation with Mary towards the start about it, where she and he were talking about how he was about to turn 18 and she had a job to help out and... yeah. My memories are vague, I only watched it once.

Bought The Flash and Quantumania on DVD the other night. They should be here by the weekend. Wonder if anyone else is buying The Flash on DVD.

I think it made sense. He was in the foster system for years, and his birth mom admitted to abandoning him. Billy's got abandonment issues, and despite being in that home, thinks that Victor and Rosa would throw him despite the fact they'd never do that.

The Ls just keep coming. I really feel you can’t read too much into that, The Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman debuted on Max the same day they were released in theatres, ZSJL was a premiere release, The Batman was released the same day as its digital purchase released. The Flash had been available for purchase for awhile, people have had plenty of opportunity to watch it via other methods. How does it compare to other movies that had a similar release schedule (theatrical and digital before home video and streaming platform)? I don’t know what a new release typically averages on Max. Coming in slightly behind a movie staring one of, if not the biggest name actor around doesn’t seem dunkworthy

It sucked, the cgi was awful. My wife goes this is their Love and Thunder at one point Even Love & Thunder had the excuse of being Taika Watiti’s “Ok, Ragnarok was a huge hit, What We Do In The Shadows turned into a fantastic show, you won an Oscar, you’ve done some other stuff….just do whatever the f*** your want with this one” movie. And they could still turn around and say “Yeah ok, it was awful but it made a whole lot more than Babylon didn’t it? Another win for our machine!” The DC movies are actively trying to make money and set up a new vision for their universe and be good and still just failing horribly. It’s almost impressive at this point. PS- Babylon, Damien Chazelle’s “do whatever the f*** you want” movie, is a big wild mess of a movie that is 700x more entertaining to watch than Love & Thunder. Give it a try sometime!

I really wish directors would stop doing that. Some of the worst parts of the theatrical version of Justice League was shit that Whedon was clearly salty didn't get over in Age of Ultron, and I say that as someone who is kinder about the theatrical version of Justice League than most.

I finally watched this over the weekend. I actually enjoyed it. If Ezra wasn't a massive bag of feces and they could've used him for promotion that might've helped. I thought the highlights were Keaton Batman and Supergirl... but I have to say, even though he's a scumbag, I thought Ezra did a decent job as well.

I'm just waiting for this to appear on Amazon or Netflix. I'll admit, it's just to see Keaton as Batman.

On the upside I did eventually catch Ghostbusters afterlife and Halloween kills on netflix. (Having a kid means I don't really get out to the cinema as much as my childless days lol)

Bought The Flash and Quantumania on DVD the other night. They should be here by the weekend. Wonder if anyone else is buying The Flash on DVD. I'll probably get it eventually. I own copies of Catwoman, Jonah Hex, Man-Thing, Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD (the Hasselhoff movie), other things I can't think of right now but are notorious for being bad.
