Who was the creepy dude with the gold mask at the end of the crossover? Also, they’re going to kill Supes and Oliver next year aren’t they? You say kill, I say put them on the shelf for the next sweeps week.

To be fair, he was pretty ok in the original CoIE. It wasn't until Infinite Crisis when he became insane. One of my favorite things about Metropolis and Gotham is the longstanding tradition of naming streets/areas of the cities after Superman and Batman creators.

Hopefully the Crisis wont be too much of a crossover, I dont want to be forced to watch Supergirl or Arrow to know what's going on (sure, I watched them for Elseworlds, but a whole season is a big commitment).

I think they did this on the Flash last season, too. It's a neat little shout out. Edit: It was either creators of the comics or the names of people who worked on the '90 series. Either way, still neat.

Supergirls involvement in the crossovers have very little if any impact on her show so having to watch it is not something one would have to do....but I will say about the current season from what I have watched of it...both Agent Liberty and Manchester Black make the current season IMO the best of Supergirl and doesn't seem like a bad point to jump in.
But both Flash and Arrow are gonna be pivotal especially in the back half of their current seasons coming out of the crossover from the mid season premier trailers

This happened, right?

I was so thrilled to not be losing it haha

They've always skewed more into that territory then the other shows, but this season they've just said "F*** it, these morons can't figure it out for them selves, might was well beat them over the head with it to make sure they understand". It seriously like "Hey Kids! It's Mark Hammil!!" levels of subtlety.

They also wrote The Rocketeer and the first Human Target TV series with Rick Springfield, of all people.

Thanks! Out of the three I'm more excited about how flash is gonna deliver the rest of the season. The whole Nora/Thawne dynamic is pretty cool

As far as the mid season trailers go and what comes next specifically for Flash and Arrow {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I am lookin forward to Emiko Queen finally making it to the show and how that changes Oliver even more......and the inevitable bullshit moment when Felicity blames him for her exsisting because it is what she does best.....please Diaz kill her we are all waiting on you to become the hero we need.
Long bow guess here but as we know who her father is I am guessing her mother is gonna be Talia...hard to explain otherwise how she has the same skills as Oliver and Talia is the easiet one to slot into her being Emikos mother without jumping through hoops of ages and timelines.
As far as Flash goes this is the back half that is most intriguiging right now because ...Nora has got some serious spalining to do and Barry is gonna be PIIISSSEEDD when he finds out that his own daughter ends up working along side the man that killed his mother , the cicada stuff I am intested in his inevitable defeat and not so much the character and this goes for alot of fans I am sure...with Eobard back Cicada is just gonna get more go away heat than he already had.
And after the 100th episode there is no possible way that something has not changed in the timeline so I wanna know what it is and then u got Zoom return possibility after what happened to him with the time wraith...alot say that was a remnent but we will see and then I hope this all ends with us getting the tornado twins as they were ment...hell thawne in the 100th episode sort of confirms that was the original timeline after he called her Dawn.

Is elsewords essentially stand alone or should I at least catch up with flash first?
