Admittedly this is Vince Russo saying this bit it rings true and he has no reason to lie on this one 😳 That's never stopped him before.

I actually heard that episode of his podcast. I am an admitted Vince Russo fan and I don't think he gets the credit that he deserves for some of his better ideas. With this claim, I don't necessarily believe that he is lying for the sake of lying, but I do think that his timeline is off. Why? Because Bret Hart returned to WWE on the same night that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff debuted in TNA. The basically played the GM role on screen. Why would Bret have come in at the same time as them to play a GM role?

So there is only a very small window where this could have possibly happened.

I don't believe it. If Hulk stonewalled Bret from working somewhere I'm sure we'd have heard it from Bret by now.

LOL Of course he does, and it's a pure economical one. It's no secret there is bad blood between Hart and Hogan, and by playing it up Russo generates interest for his own Podcasts. Anyways, Vince Russo is a dumb out-of-touch xenophobe and racist. Also a misogynic homophobe.

To this day, Bret still sends Hulk thank-you cards.

Anyway since it's Russo, I bet it was all a work and Hogan would swerve us all and introduce Bret into Immortal. Then swerve #2, Bret turns on him the first night.

To like one Vince and not the other seems odd to me. They are both as bad as each other.

Vince Russo makes Hulk Hogan seem like George Washington.

How, that doesn’t make sense
Also consider when Hulk and Impact was moving to Monday night, WWE countered by having Bret Hart return to Raw that day

Yeah, Bret was finally on good terms with and appearing in storylines for WWE when Hogan showed up to ruin TNA. The timing makes no sense.

And at the time it was the biggest favor Hulk ever did for Bret.

One day Vince Russo is going to make up some nonsense about seeing ghosts so he can get podcast clicks and I'm not even gonna blink. There doesn't have to a reason for him to lie aside from generating articles and headlines. This is a man whose sole existence is driven by lying and f***ing people over just for some modicum of attention and the sooner everyone accepts that and ignores him, the better off we can all be.
Also, dumbass is wrong in his claim Bret and Vince hadn't made amends yet. Bret was working with Vince again as early as 2005 and was in the 2006 Hall of Fame.
