That's the problem. The only solid scum read I had was on him. The rest of it is as follows: skull: Town but almost certainly going to do what I did in True Blood Mafia and alienate himself from the rest of Town, and I wish I knew what I could say or do to get him to change course, if it's even possible at this point jag: Not enough for a read The Brad: 100% Town THE OTHERKEVINDAYYYYYYYYY: Probably the next most likely scum pick considering his vote following Daime and also considering Joker's line of thought Joker: Almost certainly Town Brainbustaaah: Not enough for a read lodirulz: Not enough for a read You: Leaning Town but not sure You have excluded the self-same poster that pens you this missive. Perhaps you can join the constituents voting against the esteemed Other Kevin. One more body may swing the tide. Monsieur Richlen, can you articulate why Town should not quench the gallows with your personage? Forgot about you, but I was leaning Town. And honestly, all I've done was try to get someone who I thought was Town to not do the same stupid thing I did and he's now demanding that I get lynched because reasons. I suspected Daime of being scum, got a very un-Townlike reply which triggered my vote, but when he didn't reply to me asking him for a better argument as to why I should withdraw my vote, I backed off anyway. I'd rather help the rest of Town win this than waste my time with someone who has a vendetta against me for no good reason.

I'm going to drop my vote on Gus. VOTE: GUSVoting inactives makes sense to an extent, but I feel that is just plucking uninvolved townies one-by-one and helping our vlllains. Joker, I do find the skull being third party argument a bit weird, though. Why would a third party member want to bring attention to themselves? Like, if skull was a serial killer, and him coming out so strong, wouldn't that rise the ire of both the town and the scum? Wouldn't both groups want him gone since he's a menace to both sides winning? FOS: Joker until you can explain your rationale. I was thinking more along the lines of Cult Leader or maybe a role that wants to be lynched like the Jester. I don't believe he is a Serial Killer as that role requires a bit more caution.

Voicing your opinion is fine, shouting from the rooftops look at me I am town in a game where you are trying to deduce who everyone is seems foolhardy. That's not at all what I was doing. Also, if I'm Scum and I'm being "foolhardy," then wouldn't that be a good thing for the Town since it would make me easier to catch? You make it sound like a foolhardy Scum player is a bad thing. There is no way you call me foolhardy if you legitimately think I'm Scum.
I was trying to covey my reasoning on why being loud/attention grabbing is not the best plan, personally I think you lean more to scum or third Party at the moment because you were so bold right from the start. Being bold is a Scum characteristic? Okay, Joker. Whatever you say. FOS:skull0mancerBecause of the reasons above. Your "reasons" amount to an absurd level of mental gymnastics to make my intentions seem nefarious as well as a slew of baseless accusations based on a "general hunch/feeling" that you conveniently can't explain. It sounds like you've already reached a conclusion and are trying to find (or force, as the case may be) reasons to reinforce that conclusion. Town does it the other way around, you know.
Tell me -- why are you waiting until now to bring this up? This started with you expressing displeasure over a vote I cast on page 1 a week ago. Did you not think to say anything about it until now? I think the timing feels a little odd, to be honest. Only after I put the squeeze on Gus do you show up to discredit me. When Gus flips Scum, you'll be the next person I look at.
As I said in a prior post (This one) my style of play is to analyse what is being said before responding. Which always makes me suspicious of players with a lot to say early on. I haven't actually reached a solid conclusion on you I am only suspicious. Bar some additional evidence I am unlikely to vote for you to be lynched currently. Timing has nothing to do with it. In fact Gus is on my uncertain list (I need to re-read the conversation with Gus, Diame and Yourself before the day is out.). Investigate away but you will find I am Town.

Would you indulge your other fancy and select Mr. Richlen?

Would you indulge your other fancy and select Mr. Richlen? Seriously, why me? Is it because you're going off of someone's personal witchhunt against me? Because I really want to know what I have to say or do to change your mind. skull's entire claim against me is based off his refusal to listen to anything I've said and his insistence on hounding me over something I said as a piece of well-intended advice at the very start of Day One that I admitted didn't come across well because I haven't played a Mafia game in years and thus is rust. I explained myself and he still wants to go for my head despite me telling him the truth and telling him he was making a mistake that was going to result in him being a pariah. What do I have to say to you to get you to not vote for me?

Are you willing to vote for someone else that we have a chance of lynching? If you are, vote for the Other Kevin. I'll stay on him, and I imagine Joker will as well. Otherwise, there are no other viable targets for Day One. I understand you don't like skull's focus on you and you're worried about getting lynched. However, you are just one player. Focus on getting a lynch. Every Town life is expendable until we get to the last one. Don't worry about proving yourself innocent with words but take action to get Town a lynch. We either get scum or we get rid of a player who only says that'll they'll get back to us later. There is no later. Also, these players with one or two posts of substance over a week are either scum or someone in Town's way. End of story.

Less than 24 hours, are we really heading towards a no lynch day 1? A nonlynch doesn't really get us any information, and we will be in the same spot when Day 2 starts, just with less people. Because, you know, scum are gonna kill someone during the night. Also... You will be easier to lynch. Simple as that at this point in the game. Once more, like a broken record. I realize I'm playing a really silent and inactive game at the moment.
I've really nothing beyond gut/hunch.
Like I said earlier I'm a follower of the Lynch on day one over No Lynch. I think the possible info gleaned from vote patterns and such is just too valuable.
So based solely on that, I'll

Final Counting of the VotesGus Richlen: Ruffian (2 nominations- Skull0mancer , Brandon Walsh is Insane. ) TOK Is the Target Demo (6 nominations-Joker , @irontyger , Gus Richlen: Ruffian , jagilki , Big Bad Brad , @dante )Having received 6 ballots, TOK Is the Target Demo has been eliminated ---------------------------------------------------------------- 4 April 1888As word has gone round the parish about a newly formed organization whose aim is to root out the villainous person or persons who so violently slaughtered Jamie St. Laurent, a rather large group of individuals gather for the first ever meeting of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee. A tall, large man takes center of the room and brings the gathering to order. "Good evening, citizens of Whitechapel, I am George Lund, the leader of this committee. Together, we shall all try our earnest to find the ruffians responsible for poor Jamie St. Laurent's demise." A couple of hours pass with no real leads until an unknown figure shouts out from the crowd, " George Lund is the killer!" The crowd murmurs amongst themselves and George is taken aback. "Excuse me? Who slings such false accusations against my person?" The unknown continues, "You knew your fidelity to your wife was in question! You were a constant visitor to Jamie and did not want that information made public! What easier decision than to kill the one who could destroy your marriage and reputation?" "I--It's a lie!" cries George, but already town opinion, and a thirst for blood, has made the room see this new, dark narrative. "LET'S DESTROY HIM!" The citizens in the room descend onto George, brutally kicking, punching, and wielding whatever bric-a-brac they can get their hands on. After a thorough thrashing, George is thrown out of the meeting hall into an alley, bloody and barely conscious. As George lay facedown on the ground, he struggles to find the strength to merely lift his head. Suddenly someone comes from behind and grabs him by the hair, lifting his head back. The stranger speaks, "This town is so foolish. They'll believe anything." With a deft swipe, the stranger slides a blade across the throat of George Lund, Jack of All Trades, causing a fountain of crimson to splash the stone. His eyes wide in horror, the last glint of life exits his body as the stranger laughs and walks away, the clatter of footsteps echoing in the night.
It is now NIGHT PHASE. There is to be no posting in thread until Monday, November 5 at 2 PM Pacific Time.
