If you had to name a single performer – any era, any promotion, any role (wrestler, manager, authority figure, commentator, etc.) – who instantly killed your interest in a wrestling show whenever they came on, who would it be? Can you narrow it to one person?
After long consideration, I'm thinking mine is Zeus. I almost settled on Mabel, but I ended up sort of liking him as Viscera a few years later, when he was in the weirdo goon role with the Ministry. Dink the Clown is also near the top, along with Charly Caruso (though I haven't seen enough of her to count). But Zeus, though ... ugh. Get that guy off my TV.

Charly Caruso is a bit of an odd choice. What is wrong with her?
I absolutely hated the Nexus era, the dull black shorts era where everyone was a CAW dressed in black shorts. Each and every one of them was a channel changer to me. So dull.

Mabel is a good one. I was so disgusted that he main evented SS 95 that I didn't even watch that PPV until about 2008.

Charly Caruso is a bit of an odd choice. What is wrong with her? For me, she epitomizes the overpolished, scripted feel of today's product, which is the No. 1 reason I rarely watch anymore. She hosts the "Unreleased" DVD set with Sean Mooney and it's brutal. Nothing about her feels spontaneous. She just recites WWE Universe babble. |
