Becky’s been my favorite talent in the business for a few years now, but this Ronda social media stuff (plus the Charlotte shoehorn to a lesser degree) has made the main event feel hollow. It doesn’t feel as exciting or important to me anymore.
I’m getting close to saying “f*** it give Kofi the main event match.” But there’s zero chance of that, because if it isn’t the women, it’d be Brock/Seth.
Hopefully it gets back on track on TV and someone tells Ronda to stop being a dumbass on Twitter.

This is where I'm sitting, and has been my secret fear since Becky went down before Survivor Series - how they would keep interest going and strong heading into Wrestlemania if that was to be the route they were taking. I don't know how anyone is thinking this is a good way to hype the feud, especially since on Raw they seemed like they were still going with the idea of Ronda being somewhat of a face heading into the match. I don't see how anyone following these tweets will cheer for her, and that's going to dig under Ronda's thin skin and bug her even more. |

I still think the women need to main event this, because if it doesn't happen now while Ronda is here, it's not going to happen. Kofi isn't in the conversation, and I don't need Brock to main event another Mania again, it's too much, it needs to sotp. People rag on how many main events Roman's got but this puts Brock one behind him and it just. It has to end. |

I think the idea of the buildup ruining the match is a little overblown (although obviously if that's how you feel then that's how you feel!).
Ronda has always been a terrible talker and terrible on twitter but she usually delivers in the ring. Even if she comes out on Monday screaming THIS IS FOR REAL REBECCA! and calling HHH Paul or dumb shit like that I think it's going to be a great match and they'll come up with some cool spots (Ronda will do some cool arm bar reversal things. Charlotte will flip off the top to the outside of course) and after Becky wins everyone will be happy.
It's like a joke I heard about people putting up Christmas decorations too early. You never get someone on xmas day being like "Man, today was really ruined by those lights I saw in October!".

We're just making a bigger deal out of it than it is because they haven't been giving us shit on TV IMO. What if Becky Lynch's being encouraged to do all this by WWE brass on top of it? As we heard last night, WWE wasn't pleased with Ronda but they apparently didn't say a thing about Lynch's egging her on. On top of apparently not having any real social media policy whatsoever, WWE more than likely sees sites like Twitter as the last true bastion of kayfabe and wrestlers using it to "work" the fans and each other.
A lot of this feels really forced and it wouldn't be the first time that WWE took something that got someone over organically and pushed it to the point of substantial backlash. And the only reason why anyone doesn't think the entire thing is a giant work is because Ronda Rousey is a moron.

Nope, keep it coming. If it's going to continue, they need to get back to talking about beating each other's ass. "lol u can't cut a promo" isn't a good way to sell a fight, it was garbage when Cena and Roman did it and it's silly now. |

Nah, they've got some precautions in play for Ronda to make sure she isn't a failure. Ronda practices her match repeatedly for days so that she has a good ppv match which no one else does, she has Heyman help her out with her promos, her opinion's been used to push other talent like Ruby, she's given so much leverage that I'm sure they didn't want thing to end up like this because if that's the case you're ruining your star player. They know she's bad at this and yet it still happens. What's likely happening is that the company said "sure you can promote the match on social media" and they went at it and were annoyed at the language but let them keep going no matter how bad it is because in their eyes if people are talking about it then that's good press. They don't see any negativity even though the fans see it. |

Becky invading Raw, getting her face busted open and bragging about owning Ronda anyway was gold. That made me want to see the match. Ronda talking about scripts and Becky making fun of her terrible promos doesn't do it for me.
For the love of God, let these women do something do something cool this upcoming week on TV. We shouldn't be talking more about social media shit than what's actually happening on TV.
